Respected Sir,
This is to inform you that Oxfam Canada is one of the top governmental organizations and I
would like to become a part of it. The organization is involved with numerous social causes
and I would like to make my contribution as an employee to the community. The
organization is involved in a number of humanitarian and sustainable work and in the
development of society. This is the main reason why I want to work with your organization
as I have a keen interest in helping the society. I am a graduate student and have strong skills
that I would like to exhibit as an employee (Daniel, 2011).
I am a graduate student and does not have any experience with any organization. I selected
Oxfam as it is a governmental organization that works for the welfare of the people. I am a
very passionate person and believes in gender equality. I possess deep knowledge about
women’s rights, empowerment, and gender equality. I also have knowledge about the sexual
productive health and the rights that an individual have as an employee. I have excellent
skills of empathy so I would be able to easily understand the other person’s opinion that is
very important for the smooth functioning of the organization Oxfam. I also have the
knowledge about the poverty and the growing reason for it in the whole world. The other
skills that I possess are that I understand the real meaning of gender equality, and what are

The mission of the organization Oxfam Canada is to find the final solution to poverty
and injustice, and this has to be conducted with the focus on improving the lives of the people
and along with it publicizing women and girls’ rights. Through this mission and goal, the
organization was able to reduce poverty by half in the last fifteen years (Miller & Haylock,
2014).
The vision of the organization is to build a world in which poverty does not exist. The
focus of the organization is to build a world where human beings enjoy their rights, that all
the human beings are treated equally and that the human beings have full influence on their
decisions.
The presence of the organization Oxfam Canada in the Web 2.0 is very high. The
organization is available on the most popular platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,
and Linkedin. The organization communicating power with such a large number of people
has helped in empowering a number of people especially women and kids (Savels, 2013).
