1EVALUATION AND REFLECTION
Task 1
Introduction
Reflection helps in analysing the strength and weaknesses of an individual and work on
them in order to bring about changes in ourselves. It has an overall positive impact in one’s life
and it helps in illuminating important facet about our personality. It helps us in critical
assessment and break free from the element of self-doubt that shrouds our life (Boud 2013). It
helps in realizing our dreams so that our life seems to be more purposeful. Dwelling in remote
past can prove to be unproductive and is unhealthy. Self-compassion can be used in order to
reflect on our life and to learn from the incidents of our life. It allows us to learn from our
surroundings and apply that knowledge in a future situation. Evaluation helps to determine the
merit and worth of a subject. It can help an organization or an individual to assess the aim and
help in the process of decision-making. The main purpose of evaluation is that it helps us in
gaining insight about our existing initiatives and help in changing ourselves in the future (Flieller
et al., 2014).
Evaluation is used in order to appraise subject that are of interest in a vast range in the area of
human enterprises that includes arts, health care and criminal justice. A Career Development
Plan consists of written short along with goals that are long-term that the employees have in
relation to their present as well as future job. It contains a sequence of planned formal and
informal experience that assists employees so that they can reach their goals (Jackson 2014). The

feedback about our studies.
Week 7
I consulted a friend of mine related to ethics in the
project
We analysed our actions that we do in the course of a
project and measured it against the code that that real
workers followed.
Summative
The course included many activities from introduction,
setting goals to that of online research and attending real
life event that helped me in gaining practical experience.
Real-life event threw a lot of light on the problems faced
by the workers. Students will be able to engage better if
the lessons in classroom relates to their everyday
existence. Practical skill is of supreme importance in
today’s world. Current events can highlight the problems
of the present age and how these issues can be resolved.
Media can be used by teachers very effectively in order
to bring the real world as it is within the class room.
Students can fulfil their natural curiosity by researching
over various topics with the help of internet. The
simulation task threw light on the evaluation of risks.
We can learn a lot about project management from these
simulation games and we understood how important it
was to keep the different stakeholders happy while
The experience taught me about
the importance of self-learning
and in learning of essential
skills.
