INTRODUCTION
Personal development mainly emphasize upon improving social and mental skills while

which one can significantly improve potential in work environment. Both of these skills play
essential role that can effectively and efficiently enhance individual’s growth opportunity
(Albrecht, Moscard and Dwyer, 2021). Personal and professional development is mainly a
process to learn new skills, knowledge and capabilities in order to overcome the challenges as to
accomplish desirable goals. Main benefit associated with personal and professional development
is that it helps in managing individual learning and growth throughout their career. With the help
of continuous learning and developing knowledge and skill one can assure greater awareness in
industry. It is essential for an individual to significantly manage their learning with the help of
determining own strength and weaknesses. This will effectively help them to underline measures
and strategies through which the challenges can be overcome in effective manner. Present report
has been conducted on improving own learning and performance in this selected professional
field of interest. For this identification of strength is being mentioned in this report along with

Field of professional interest is human resource and my dream job in this is human resource
manager. It has been identified that there are number of career paths prevailing in human
resource such as HR Assistant, HR Generalist, Recruiter, Training and development coordinator,
HR manager and more. Among of all these I am aiming towards to be a successful HR Manager.
Human resource manager are having responsibility for enlisting, screening, meeting and placing
employees at right place (Partridge, 2021). They may likewise deal with representative relations,
finance, advantages, and preparing. HR directors plan, immediate and facilitate the managerial
elements of an association. They regulate experts in their obligations, talk with leaders on
essential arranging, and connection an organization's administration with its workers.

strong opportunities for their growth and development. There are different types of opportunity
in this field. Furthermore it has been underlined that human resource is significantly increasing

effective difference to individuals and have capability to impact upon organisational success

committed individual in which I always try to accomplish my work accordingly. Furthermore, I
am also having strength of an optimistic person in which I always aim towards avoiding negative
feelings. This skill will effectively help me to build a positive work place in organisational
workplace structure. This skill play essential role in human resource as they are responsible to
provide a positive environment in organisation. This will help company to enhance employee
performance, their job satisfaction level and overall growth. In addition to this it has been
underlined by me that I am also a good learner through which I can easily learn from audio and
visual mediums. This is one of the most important and effective skill that will significantly aid
me to perform my role in Human Resource in effective manner, as with the help of the skill I can
effectively identify the requirement of skill and knowledge and capabilities in my role according
to the business environment and can effectively learn them as to enhance my role effectiveness.
In addition to this I always welcome feedback from other individual through which I can

in a workplace structure (Matthews and Dobbins, 2021). Furthermore, as per my analysis I also
faced challenges in my creativity at workplace. Creativity play important role in performing, it is
the responsibilities of HR as with the help of the skills HR can effectively involve in innovating
new methods in workplace as to enhance motivation and job satisfaction of employees. In
addition to this leadership skill is also one of my major challenge which is essential skill
required by an HR manager. It is essential for an HR manager to have strong leadership skill in
order to provide motivation and guidance to employees in workplace structure. It is essential for
me to significantly develop this skill as to enhance my role effectiveness in my selected field of
interest (King, 2021). Furthermore I also have challenge in terms of planning and organising.
This is an essential and most necessary skill required by an HR manager as they are responsible
to manage different type of work such as planning and scheduling recruiting selecting as per the
plan and proper organising structure. In addition to this I also faced challenge in working in a
team. This is utmost necessary for an HR manager in order to effectively perform their roles and

are some of my major challenges which is essential for me to overcome. However in order to
