me in transferring my professional career are associated with professional identity as well as self-
interest.
Professional identity research that focuses on the education industry is identifying the fact
that professional identity is not only depending upon a person’s professional knowledge but also
on the confidence of the person in successful undertaking of a specific professional role. In the
context of professional identity, it can be stated that it has helped me in contributing to the
growth of productivity. It has helped me in understanding the ICT industry (Clarke 2013). I have
done a considerable amount of research regarding professional identity concentrating on the
education profession. In addition, professional identity has helped in having strong self-esteem.
Self-interest can be acknowledged in regard to the potential economic as well as social
beneficial aspects that I believe can be achieved with the help of a particular action regarding
educational aspect. In this context, it can be stated that there are two matters in relation to self-
interest that have motivated me in pursuing a career in the ICT industry. One of them was the
terms as well as conditions regarding employment that I received while working in the ICT
industry and the other one is in relation to the scope of employment as well as beneficial aspects
