As per my portfolio 1 presentation, I have understood that in recent times the virus
attack named ransomware attack has created havoc. The impact of the virus is such that it
hacks one’s computer system and disallows the owners of the computer system to use their
own system. It also accesses the files of the system and encrypts it. The users can get back the
lost files and can gain access to the system in lieu of money. I think this is the vulnerable
attack and the virus must be prevented and cured. I have understood that business ethics is
important. According to me, everybody should be abiding by the ethics and should follow the
principles as that will assist in conducting business operations. According to me, the security
measures can ensure trust among the users so that they can browse the internet freely and
conveniently, also they can transact money online without worrying about security breaches
carrying out by the intruders. I observe that data breaches are the area of concern in the
modern technology and the cloud computing. Today the enterprises use tons of applications
for their system and the database, thus they are concern about the data breaches. The system
and the database contain the sensitive information of the users. The system and the database
also contain the financial data of the enterprise, if somehow the system gets hacked then the
security and the privacy will be compromised. The enterprises can face huge losses, can lose
the user base. Thus according to me, the enterprises should spend more to protect the system
and the database from the hackers. According to me, the organisations require to manage the
online service and to conduct the secure operations over the internet. According to me, the
information and communication technology plays an important role in conducting business
operations and ICT facilitates the business operations to be conducted in agile and effective
and in a secured manner.
We presented the assignment as a team and I concluded the presentation. I presented
the ICT security aspects and explained how the technology can be used for the betterment for

the enterprises. It was an overall good experience and I learnt quite a lot from my professors,
I also learnt to work as a team.
I have learnt so far that the enterprises can be benefitted if they install the antivirus
software in their system if they use the well-secured network and advanced firewall
protection then they can save themselves from the security breaches.
It was a good presentation and we all team members gave our best to represent the
assignment to our professors and we were appreciated. We all presented the assignment in a
sequential manner.
This assignment teaches me to work as a team. The teamwork is helpful to carry out
business operations in fast, effective, secure and ethical manner.
