INTRODUCTION
Professional identity means to introduce own self in front of others by defining attributes,
beliefs, experiences, values and object that attracts person. This is developed by individuals for
themselves to influence the person and people follow them. It contains practices that help to
adopt new changes within organisation. The main aim of this report is to understand the
importance of professional identity and its practices (Ahonen and et.al., 2015). The Seahorse
Restaurant is selected organisation for hospitality industry whose headquarter is located in
London. The report discuses about ongoing professional development, career opportunities and
learning assessment that help to enhance professional identity. Moreover report covers
formulation of professional development plan by using own skills and transferable skills for job
application that help to perform a job role.

Overview of company: The The Seahorse Restaurant is one of the biggest restaurant in
UK that provides different type of food services to its customers. It was founded in 1934 in UK
that provides variety of tasty food to its customers. The manger of such organisation are highly
qualified who provides types of food services and attract the customers by using skills and
experience (About The Seahorse Restaurant 2019).

Ongoing professional development is the process of learning new things and tracking the
skills within organisation. It is used by individual person to learn and implement in order to
complete task. In other words, ongoing professional development is continuous procedure to gain
