international, which is American multinational hospitality company that manage a broad
portfolio of hotels and lodging facilities. This company founded by J. Willard Marriott in 1927 to

and territories, 30 brand around the world. Mainly, hotel founded by J, Willard Marriott in 1927
now led by his son. Number of employees within the company is around 176000 that provide its
services to number of customers with the aim of providing them better satisfaction. For attaining
success at market place, company needs to provide continuous professional development
programs to their stakeholder so that they can easily improve their working performance within
the organization and also make their own identity.

In business organization, continuous professional development refer to the ongoing
learning process that help individual to improve their competencies and skills to attain success at

particular job activities. In this, I analysed that I have enough knowledge about operational
activities of the organisation and I think that I become an appropriate operation manager in
Marriott hotel. On the other hand, I also evaluate that in some areas I feel that I am less capable
which may negatively impact on my overall performance at workplace. For becoming an
effective operation manager I need to make alternative ways to overcome from my weakness so
that I can effectively improve my own productivity level. At workplace, every workers have their
own specific skills and position that make them successful at specified job activities. By
undertaking whole analysis, I can easily evaluate the differences that I have from the expectation
of operation manager of Marriott hotel. With the assistance of this, I can make a right decision to
improve my skills and abilities that develop my career growth at workplace. As employee of
Marriott are capable and skilled towards the particular job activities that helped them in attaining
their set target in stipulate time frame.
Apart from this, Marriott Hotel operate their business at global level. This is the main
reason that competition level of market is also high in which company focus on inviting people

activities in effective manner (Paquette, 2016). By using this approach, employees
execute their plans to improve their performance at workplace. Behaviourist approach- This type of theory includes different range of ideas that needed
by employees to their task and activities. In context of Marriott, employees have ideas
which make them enable to handle the complex situation at workplace. This will
contribute in enhancing the positive performance at workplace and at the same time also
attain higher productivity level at market place. Social learning theory- It is also an effective theory in which people are learn by another
person behaviour, attitude and values. By this, they improve their skills and knowledge at
workplace. In context of Marriott, this theory help employees to learn new things that
helped them in increasing their professional performance. This will directly contribute in

Strength:

knowledge was also my strength which helped me out in giving answers of tricky questions. All
these strength helped me in cracking the interviews without facing any kind of issues and

Weaknesses:
In interview process, I found that I m loosing my confidence because of frequent general
questions were asked by interviewers. It negatively impact on the performance level.
Furthermore, I failed in conveying my views and opinion about the question that put up by
interviewers. This was the main reason that it will negatively impact on the may overall
performance while interview process.
