This task is based on the individual essay that going to discussed about positive and negative
impact of internet. Furthermore, challenges and measures of security and privacy is also
mentioned that create at the time of using internet.
Compare and Contract between the positive and negative aspects of the internet
Nowadays, internet is one of the popular aspect in the world as every one access internet
with their own purpose. It is accessible by every person who tries to connect with more and more
people. Mainly, internet is a network that is globally connected in which various media transmit
data in over the world. It is worldwide network which includes business, public, government
authorities through which all are connected with each others. In addition of this, internet can be
define as an effective communication system by which number of people easily share
information and also communicate with each other. For connecting to the internet, individual
have to access to IPS (Internet service provider) as it provide broadband access of internet via a
DSL or fiber connection. Apart from this, internet also provide different online services like
Web, Email, Social media, Online gaming, software updates and many more. All are directly
contribute in connecting with large number of people in the world. Internet provide an effective
platform wherein individual easily connect with each other and at the same time also maintain
positive relation.
Although, internet is one of important tool that make people active and live in society
with more convenient. As, it can be evaluated that internet has positive effects on the society and
people as well. The development of in formation technology is relate with internet that includes
both positive and negative impact to society (Castaño-Muñoz and et. al., 2017). In this regards,
by using internet people can easily do research by subscripting to journals online. Along with

internet is that by using this people can easily earn by setting at home. In this competitive era,
number of business organisation started their online business by using internet which support
them in making entire transactions faster. Due to which seller and buyer easily interact and
transact online. Internet make entire activities of people more easier as they easily purchase
products from online sites which save their time to visit at physical stores. Furthermore, internet
support individual to transact online, send payment globally by using different online portals.
Thus, it can be states that internet make person life easier and more convenient.
On the other side, internet also includes some negative effects on society like children,
adults are more addicted to online games and sites as well as that create negative impact on their
health. As they regularly play games on computer, laptop and tablets that negatively impact on

away from the actual and surroundings people who needs to take their attention. This may
increase the negative impact on their relationship. Use of internet is increased day by day that
make people more virtual as compare to real ones. Sometime, number of people use internet just
for their fun in which they easily upload illegal material in online sites hat affect another people
and their mind set as well. Furthermore, addiction to online social network can affect individual
ways of living as they continuously use as well as access the online sites for their fun that
negatively impact on their professional activities and status also.

the society and people also. Thus, it is important for individual to effectively understand all the

sites. Nowadays, children and adults are highly concerned about privacy issues as they don't

from them. Apart from this, there are some measures that can bes used by overcoming from the
challenges faced by individual in safety and security of internet access. For this, individual
should keep personal informational confidential and does not share on online sites. If they post
their information on internet then they have to ensure to keep privacy on social media tools. This
may help in reducing the chances of arising any kind of security issue in-front of people.
Furthermore, Facebook users and another used have to understand about how to keep security
and privacy within their account. In this, people set strong password option to making their sites
private and secure as well. An effective password should be at-least 15 characteristics which
