Introduction

and right behaviour. Ethical behaviour directly conforms to norms which are generally
accepted which are very much universal. The ethics are generally stated in the form of
statement about the people should be behaving and individual rules which generally fit
together in the form of moral code. The advancement in the sector of technology directly
allows the information technology business area to reach the desired goal very much easily
and completely than ever before. It can be stated here that these type of application of
technology starts the aspect of infringing on the right of the individual and may be considered
as unethical aspect. These type of limitation are generally aware in the sector of ethically
operated companies and government companies. Some of the IT organisation tend to include
internal policies in order to focus on the aspect of limiting the unethical behaviour. It can be
stated here that IT organisation which tend to consider the ethical aspect should look at
applying certain technology and checking whether it can harm some of the individual and
different constraints for example application to what is absolutely necessary (Trevino &
Nelson, 2016). The aspect which is related to the adaptability and the versatility offer
different types of benefit to the society as well as the organisation. In most of the IT related
organisations ethical and social implication always needs special attention and can directly
result in the creation of information ethics as a discrete area of study. The overall goal which
is related to the IT professional ethics is to integrate the IT and human value in such a way
which directly modifies and protect the value of the organisation relating to IT environment.
The main aim of the report is to take into consideration the different aspects which is
related to the IT professional ethics. The main aspect which is taken into consideration is how
the different ethical aspects are taken into consideration and how they eventually play a role

professional have good amount of technical knowledge and experience. But along with they
also require certain amount of good soft skills like communication, analytics and leadership
skills. At present various kinds of business mainly requires professionalism so that they can
easily provide best kind of service to large number of customers along with satisfying their
requirements (Kubiszyn & Borich, 2015). Professionalism also creates a proper kind of
platform which can be used for ethical trade. It mainly helps in increasing profits, high value
of market and product productivity in various kinds of organization. Ethics can be easily
defined as a proper kind of regulation which is generally used for differentiating right and
wrong. It also aims in differentiating between acceptable and unacceptable behaviour. Ethics
mainly helps large number of people to provide respect and value to themselves as well as to
others. It is mainly based on some kinds of core value like trust, integrity, excellence and
reputation. Ethics in various organization mainly helps in retaining of various talents and
minimizing of attrition of jobs. It mainly aims in improving profit and increasing productivity
among various employees of the organization (Maxwell & Schwimmer, 2016).
Information technology (IT) is all about modernizing the living standards of mankind.
Professional mainly plays a key role in bringing a large number of changes to the
organization and also to humanity. Technology can be considered as an important factor be
easily used for providing benefits and destruction. Ethics mainly plays a key role in analysing
the fact behind the right use of technology. There is always a fine line between being
professional and non-professional. Various IT professional play a key role in having code of

conduct, right attitude and good moral values. Currently due to development of technology
the misuse of technology has increased a lot. With the rise of internet there have been some
kind of unethical and professional behaviour which has ultimately led to large number of
issues like spamming, hacking and lastly system virus (Remley & Herlihy, 2014). During IT
education, ethics should be considered to be easily taught and to be easily practise in various
schools and institutes. Different student in schools should be made aware of the various
consequences which can result due to unethical behaviour. In the early stage these values
stage should be inculcated within them as it can lead the various students in longer life. In the
last few years there has been increase in the number of cybercrimes due to mishandling or
misuse of internet. In many cases it is observed that students are unaware of various ethics
and professional behaviours. Professionalism should be strictly followed in schools and
various institutes and along with this it should be practiced at earlier stage. In various
universities round the globe plagiarism is considered to be unethical.
There are many codes of professional which needs to be followed like professional
respect, avoidance or activities of fraud and professional development of individual.
Professional respect is considered to be more concept in doing job with various integrity with
job. It is more about attitude and compromising of professional which is needed for
completing the job. There are mainly two forms of respect that is recognition and appraisal.
Recognition is something to be important when someone ones wants to provide respect to
other people along with respect right of other people. Appraisal is something which is all
about valuing an individual on the fact that how better one can understand the various moral
standards. The fact should be also taken into consideration that some people deserve respect
(Maxwell & Schwimmer, 2016).
In professional ethics, there are some number of cases which needs to be managed for
various conflicts. There are some kinds of issues in professional ethics which be properly

identified. The conflicts are generally termed as moral dilemma. Resistance to change of
attitude and behaviour can easily happen with some senior workers (Stillman II, 2016).
Conflict of interest can come with challenges which can easily take place when various
professionals’ encounters clash between environment and human life. The conflict can easily
take place when clash takes place between various professional duties and interest of
personal. Various professional round the globe encounters issues. It generally requires
decision making which can easily affect the position of other employees and along with this
various professional can easily obtain their own benefits. It can be easily used for decision
making which can easily make other employees affected by the power which professional can
easily obtain to his or her own benefit. The conflict generally involves certain laws or action
which the professional can easily overlap with the given law.
There are large number of professional codes of ethics for protection against decision
making. It generally serves as a proper kind of code which must be followed for making a
decision. The codes can easily limit various kinds of acceptable action which this
professional can easily make regarding the kind of work being provided like wrong or right
(Remley & Herlihy, 2014). The various kinds of guidelines will mainly provide assistance for
various kinds of professional based decision. For various kinds of professional they should
protect their own data which can be easily used for decision making. For various
professionals, it is their duty to protect their own decision making in all the matters which are
provided by others. Decision made by professional can easily make convenience regarding

Recommendation
Recommendation 1: The first recommendation which can be stated here in this
context is that there should be some policy relating to ethical issue which should be
implemented within the working of the organisation (Stillman II, 2016). In most of the cases
these policy forms the basic guideline of working according to which the different members
of the team should follow and comply with. The policy in recent times was not implemented
due to the fact that it forms a basic framework of operation which has to be taken care of. It
directly restricts the professional to certain type of activity and working restrictions. Ethical
aspect can be considered very much important to execute proper working of the organisation.
Recommendation 2: The framework of working for the organisation should be
implemented over the existing architecture of working. This is due to the factor that this
would provide an overall framework of working which would be directly beneficial for the
organisation. A new architecture is not implemented due to the fact that the professional are
more familiar with the old system and new architecture would be involving time consuming
prospective and learning scheduling. Preparation and rate of malfunction and not meeting the

need of the organisation can be sometimes a major reason for not going for a new framework
of working.
Recommendation 3: The security of the data within the organisation should be given
topmost priority. This aspect would be beneficial in a way which would be directly affecting
the unauthorised access of the data which would be protecting the data. In most of the times
security is not taken care of by the organisation due to the factor that they tend to dedicate
more emphasis on more crucial working of the organisation which may include internal and
external working of the organisation. In most of the situation it can be stated that there are
many precautions which can be done in order to safe guard the data. Many times the security
of the data is leaved into the hand of third party users or service providers.
Recommendation 4: The project governing team should be have the overall power
over the working of the organisation. This implies that there are standard of working within
the organisation which would be safeguarding the ethical implication within the operation of
the organisation. Moreover it can be stated here that ethical prevail in those sector of the
organisation which does not have a proper working involved into the concept. Standardized
working within the organisation should pertain so it directly impacts the organisation as well
as the customers in various context (Remley & Herlihy, 2014). Power distribution can be
sometimes very much important to focus on a proper functionality of the working. Power
should be given to someone who can directly help in the execution process of the
organisation aimed at improving the functionality of the organisation. Team in any project
not only in the IT sector play a very vital role which drives a project to the factor of success.

The report can be concluded on a note that the ethics play a very vital role in the
sphere of the working of an organisation. In most of the times it can be seen that due to the

Reflection
According to me, the process of the implication which is related to the IT ethical issue
in the professional field should be one of the most fragile sector which should be taken into
consideration. Most of the time it can be seen that the ethical aspects which are related to the
IT organisation form a basic standard of working which would be directly utilizing the
different operation related to internal as external working of the organisation. Care should be
taken in the field of policy implementation of the organisation and how these policy should
be implemented within the working of the organisation. It can be sometimes the role of the
project manager to take into consideration different aspects which are related to the policy
utilization and proper functionality of the organisation. The employee should be very much
aware of the different working of the organisation. The different employee of the organisation
should be working within the organisation in an ethical manner which directly effecting the
sector of the working within the organisation. There are different types of rules which are

applicable from the sector of the government according to which the organisation have to
work and stay compiled to follow the policy. The rules or the policy directly support the
sector of the internal working of the organisation and it can also be connected with the sector
of the safeguarding the data of the organisation. I have come to know that the data of the
organisation is a major factor which directly implies proper working of the organisation. It
can be stated here that if there are any loss of data it would be directly affecting the overall
working of the organisation and it would be also affecting the position of the organisation in
the market field.
