INTRODUCTION
Success is dream of all the individuals and all of them prepare for it at their college time
by enhancing their skills and developing their knowledge about different elements. This report is
based upon developing portfolio for a future job that includes various elements such as ideal job,
job description, person specification etc. Along with this, resources available to use and facilitate
the job finding process are also covered in this report.
MAIN BODY
a. Ideal job
I am currently studying Business management so I am willing to be a General manager in
big retail job. It is my idea job for which I am studying business management. Reason behind
selecting it is my good communication and leadership skills that will help to work on this profile.
b. Job description for the role
The document that keeps detailed information regarding a job profile is known as job
description. With the help of it individuals may get aware of all the responsibilities and roles
which are required to be played by them after joining the company (Bayley, Chambers and

There are various resources which are available to me for the purpose of facilitating the
job finding process. These are job portals, social media website etc. In order to find the job I
have created a profile on Linked In which has helped me to connect with end number of
recruiters and find best suitable job for me (Pató, 2015)). Most of the recruiters also post their
openings on social media websites such as Facebook and this source has also been used by me to
find the job online. I have used all the sources appropriately and effective that has facilitated me
in the job finding process and apply for General manager post in Tesco.
CONCLUSION
From the above project report it has been concluded that if an individual is planning to
apply for a job then it is very important to formulate a person specification that carry detailed
information about that individual. Afterwards, different resources such as Linked In social media
websites could be analysed for the purpose of finding best job opportunity. Before applying for
the job it is very important for individuals to study the job description to make sure that decision
for application is right.
