INTRODUCTION
I studied at the school in order to develop and improve my overall skills by effective
learning, practicing and representing my skills. Reflective practice is considered as an approach
which is useful in analysing the experiences of individuals and also leads to enhance their work.
It is useful in developing professional skills to carry out the learning thoughts and skills for both
personal and professional and life (Medina, Castleberry and Persky, 2017). This reflection is
based on the various jobs with many experiences through I am more determined to work hard to
enhance my communication skill. To carry forward this reflection, I gained experience form
many job roles by which I work more determined way for the development of my skills. In this
context, I reflect for the better future for myself by hoping to become staff coordinator by
developing and enhancing my skills. Therefore, this reflection is based on the success and
development of personal skill as a learner and to face the future challenges.
Why is this skill important?
By analysing the various things, I pursue and understand this lesson for the development
of my skills and learning that are concerned with my learning and knowledge. In relation with
this, I prefer visual learning rather than oral and audio learning that is related with VARK model
in order to combine my overall learning style that is useful in gaining and retaining more
knowledge.
Communication skill is important as it is helpful for me in clearly conveying things to
others that leads to bring success in my career development. This skill is also important in
smooth running and functioning of things with any project or event as it also leads to develop
coordination, cooperation and collaboration which are useful in enhancing team working among
team associates and project (Lengkanawati, 2017). Moreover, it is useful in developing and
maintaining healthy relationships with other individuals which is good for the smooth running
and functioning of event.

How good were you at this in the past?
By analysing my past experience, I analysed that I am average in communication skill as
in that case I am good in written skills but poor in verbal and gesture skills. In that case, my
dream is to become a General Manager but I am quite poor in verbal and gesture that leads to
develop negative impact on the mind of other individuals which is not good for my career
development or can become threat on success.
Why did it need improving?
There is a requirement to develop and improve this skill as I am weak in verbal and
expressions by which I cannot convey my perspective to others. In that case, to achieve
prominent success and growth in my career I am quite good in reading and writing and also
working on it to get it better for easy to understand it for other. Therefore, in that case I should
also develop verbal skills to make things orally clear to other people with the help of prominent
expressions.
How do experts advise developing this skill?
In relation with this, the advice of experts is to develop this skill with the help of various
methods that are useful in bringing hike in my overall career. For this, the experts are my
immediate manager and supervisor and they suggest me to attend proper training programme,
workshops and seminars which is useful in developing my verbal communication skill in more
prominent way and also provide my mock testing for it to determine my weak and deviation
point (Gulbinskienė, Masoodi and Šliogerienė, 2017).
How are you doing with it now?
In that context the overall objective is to develop this skill which is useful for my career
development. On current basis, there are various methods by which I can develop this skill
including developing and maintaining healthy communication with many individuals and start
talking with random people that leads to develop confidence in me.
How did you make this difference happen?
It is possible with the guidance and support of many people that are influencers for me
which include my manager, immediate supervisor, peers and other instincts. Hence, it is possible
by proper and continuously maintaining communication with them which is useful in developing

Communication skill in helpful in my future studies as it is required at both personal and
professional life and in that case it leads to bring hike in my overall career which is helpful in my
career development. By considering my future studies, it is useful at various levels as in order to
share study material, to guide someone, developing interaction with other individuals, interacting
with professors and many more.
What gaps should you fill to prepare for future studies?
In this context, there are two prominent gaps that become major barrier for the success
and development of my skill. In that case to develop my verbal communication skill, it is
significant for me to develop and maintain healthy relations with many people to develop my
overall confidence. Therefore, confidence leads to develop personality that prominently give a
new shape and rise to my career to carry forward my future studies.
How do experts suggest tackling those gaps?
In this context, the advice of experts is to take proper training and counselling for the
development and enhancement of my skills that give a new hike and shape to my career (Basu,
Biswas and Kinnebrew, 2017). Moreover, the experts also suggest to talk to many people whom
I am surrounded with as they are my instincts and always support and provide guidance to my
for the overall development of my skill. Therefore, these are the expert advice to develop and
fulfil those gaps.
How do you plan to fill the gaps?
In this context, my plan is to consider the advice and suggestions of my managers and
experts who give their precious time for the development of my skill. Moreover, by considering
my perspective on this, I also think that I need to develop verbal communication with many
people which is useful for me in developing proper confidence within me that is useful for my
career growth.

Therefore, it is determined that proper reflection is required in order to develop
communication skill and there are various ways by which it can be developed with the help of
proper support and guidance of supervisors as they give prominent vision which is useful in
order to enhance this skills. In this context their experience plays significant role which is useful
in developing this skill by considering the future success criteria.
