them to be successful in the career and such skills includes both oral and written skills. The
formal mails are less detailed and contains the informative sentences which are generally written
in the passive tone. While the informal letters include the descriptive words which are generally
written in active voice. For developing good command on such skills I had to take various
sessions online which helped me in analysing the difference among the two and use of proper
words in the mails. This ability helped in taking the edge over others in my professional career as
I could easily convey my message to others effectively (García-Peñalvo, 2016).
2) SWOT analysis
SWOT analysis helps in identifying the strengths, weaknesses, threats and opportunities
to the individual and the organisation both. On the basis of such analysis various strategies are

strengths and the opportunities. This facilitates an individual in analysing the competencies and
the capabilities which are possessed by them so that they can manage to the task which has been
assigned to them at the workplace (McDowell, 2019). I conducted SWOT analysis on me with
the help of which I could analyse that I need to develop various skills which are related to the
analysis techniques. Also for an organisation SWOT analysis is crucial as it facilitate them in
strategic planning, with the help of which they can achieve their organisational objectives.

knowledge which guides the attitude of the individual. For developing various skills, I prefer to
work in the groups as this helped me in learning from other which will be helpful in my career.
When I was into my studies I presented various projects for which I worked in team with my
classmates while in my professional career I had to provide various presentation before the
managers and the supervisors. This developed the confidence in me of working with a number of
people (Giuli and Treadgold, Apple Inc, 2017.).
4) Thinking into character
Thinking into character are programs which helps in transforming the personality of the
students and the employees. The institution organisation such programs with the help of which
the ability to think can be improved that can make them in establishing and achieving the
meaningful targets and the goals. This make the students and the employees productive as among
the students it enhances the employability while facilitates the employees in taking necessary
actions. I enrolled myself in such a program at university level which helped me in learning
various analytical skills (Green and Salkind, 2016).
5) Referencing
In academic writing the Referencing is very important as it makes helps the reader to
determine the source from where the idea has been taken by the individual in the assignments. A
citation is provided of the references for the text where it has been inserted. This helps in making
the assignment reliable and authentic as the information and data which is used has been taken
from the authentic source. The students have to prepare various assignments as I also prepared so
and in such assignments the referencing need to be done. With the help of such citation in my
assignments I could score better as that made them authentic (Bohari, Hin and Fuad, 2017). The
references which are to be cited down are available in different types which can be AVP,

the resume or the curriculum vitae. It is treated as a letter of introduction which are provide3d by
the job seekers. It includes various aspects which are not included in above mention documents

resume while I applied from the job which helped the client in analysing my objectives of taking
the employment (Yadav, Rawal and Baxi, 2016).
7) Interview skills
Before appearing for the interview it is important for an individual to prepare themselves.
The preparation includes gathering sufficient information about the organisation in which the
employment is to be taken and about the changes which are taking place in the environment that
can have influence on the organisation (Stephenson, 2015). Such preparation helps in developing
the confidence in the candidate as they have understanding of various aspects which are related
with the business. In addition to this there are various common questions which are asked by the
interviewer like self-introduction, various strengths and the weaknesses etc. I prepared before
appearing in the interview for the job as this gives confidence to respond to the questions asked
by the interviewer.

on the writer too as this reduces the reliability on such assignment and at academic level this
reduces the marks (Wong and et. al, 2019). Due to plagiarism an individual may have to face the
penalties and the fines. I get to know about the topic when in had to undertake the project at the
college level and considered so while preparing the projects.
9) Academic writing style
Scholar writing is the other name of Academic writing. In this type of writing only authentic and
relevant information regarding academic point is present. Individual having academic writing
skill can score more good marks as compare to those who do not have. There is no practical
relevance in real word. Those students who can write more expressively and clearly score more
marks in universities and schools as well as their academic graph raises. From my past
experience I have learned that it must be more impersonal, evidenced and accurate as it assists
writers to be concentrated in their work. Additionally, along with academic skills the use of
grammar should be proper so that it completely fulfil the expectation level of the report. The
facts and figures presented in the assignment should have reference in them. This is because it
makes the gathered information more authentic in nature (McGuire and OBroin, 2019)
10) CV Writing

highlighted properly. This includes detail information such as, number of awards achieved till
date, number of project worked in till date, reorganization, years of experience in specified work
profile and many more all this showcase the ability and potential level of that person. With the
help of this employer is able to easily measure the applicant capabilities who came to apply for
the vacant post. Also, they are able to determine their interest level weather they are suitable for
the job profile or not. Name, address, skills, hobbies, education, details regarding the past work
experience, awards, abilities etc. Are covered in CV. All this helps employer to decide the desire
