One of the learning experiences found in NFDN 1002 is
keeping a practice of basic foot care in patients. A plan for
handling basic foot care in clients is designed to suit their
hygiene needs. The significant learning experience in this

I learnt a number of things during the competency and one of
the major thing was making a teaching plan for the clients
regarding basic foot care. The learning abilities differing in
every person and importance of patient centered care. This

I rate my proficiency as Good.
I used my critical reflection and evidence based practices to
create an appropriate foot care plan for my client. It turned out
to be beneficial for the client and that showed my level of
critical thinking (Papathanasiou et al., 2017). This is the reason
why I give myself this rating.

and yeast infections found in the feet. The precautionary
measures to refrain from such infections, which will also help
me in my future practices. Diabetic patients need serious
intervention of foot care because they can easily suffer from
