INTRODUCTION
The competition is increasing on a regular basis in the present environment. This has
further resulted into creating the pressure on the individuals. The individuals are now required to
gain the new skills in order to increase their efficiency. The education and the training are very
essential in order to gain these skills in an organisation(Tereshchenko, and et.al 2019) . This
report would outline the concept of professionalism and its applied application in that context.
This report also includes the conception of the dual professionalism along with the training
procedure involved in it. Moreover, it would also detail about the impact of the process and the
procedures that are being used in an organisation. This would also explain about the
improvement in the quality of the professionals in an institution.

1.1 Define the idea of expertness and dual professionalism in teaching and training.
The term professionalism is outlined as the powerful quality that must be contained by
all the individuals who are involved in doing a job. Moreover, for doing a job, it is very essential
for a person that it should have some expertness in order to do their best. This would further
mean that I should have a profound knowledge of the subject that I used to present to an
respective. Moreover, the first and crucial step for a professional is to gain a degree in teaching.
Hence, it would become a professional teacher. In addition to this, it is found that educators and
trainers are reasoned as dual professionalisms(Sorbello, , Afshari, and De Hert, 2018) . The
concept of Dual professionalism can be defined as the profession where there are two areas that
can be generally seen in teaching and training. Further more, as a wine specialist , it is essential
for me to have a wide knowledge of my profession. This is required to train other individuals.
Moreover, it is very essential to include some crucial considerations which are as specified
below:
Code of conduct
The Code of conduct is characterised as the standard of the profession along with the
framework for teachers to make a right decision in an organisation. Moreover, it is very essential
for teachers that they must take the correct decision as they are performing an important role in

the career of the educates.
Membership of professional bodies
To turn into a good professional, it is very essential for a teacher that they must become a
associate of society for teaching and training with regard to the education and preparation
sector(Snoek, Dengerink, and de Wit, , 2019) . Moreover, the SET is the autonomous
professional body for instructors, trainers, teachers, and several different professionals who are
employed in teaching and training sector of the country.

The profession in education and preparation sector is very crucial profession in the social
group as it would provide teaching and preparation to the pupil for their finer future. Moreover,
this profession is constituted as a upper most job in the business concern environment.

students. This is very important for teachers so they will understand that they do understand that
they are not only give information but they also convey wisdom and truth. This is because the
professional value in crucial for them for consider and decide the whole development of
students. This is found that the teachers were responsible in maintaining equality between
students. As an wine specialist, this have essential values which impact on professional
relationship and practices. This is very important for me to consider some most crucial values in
this profession. Some of the values are integrity, trust, social justice, personal commitment, etc.

Education system works on certain policies and principles laid down by the government. In
every country these policies play a significant role as education is a crucial part of the economy.
There are various factors that influence the policy system of education like social, political,
economic factors, etc(Petillion, and McNeil, 2020) . Being a teacher of wine specialist, I must
have a clear understanding of these factors as they have a lasting impact on the policy. My job is
to train the learners. Generally young adults apply for this course. It is an important factor to be
kept in mind while framing policies. Some of those factors are discussed below:
Social Factors
Factors which affect the behaviour of people in the society or how they deal with others
are considered as social factors. Family income level, parent's level of education, gender, etc., are
some social factors. Family's financial status is the prime factor affecting education policy. For
education, generally, individuals rely on private sources. Government should initiate public
spending so that everyone gets an equal opportunity to study. Course for being a wine specialist
is too high to afford for middle class people. Hence Government must keep this in mind while
framing policies.
Political Factors
Politics have a major impact on education policies. Political factors like financing,
development, evaluation, teachers union, etc., are quite significant for framing educational
policies. Government's financial status helps in evaluating the country's resources which can be
provided for education. Being a wine specialist, it is my duty to assess these factors. Our future is
our youths and thus government should focus on changing educational reforms thereby making
them more innovative, useful and developed (Pennington, and Rogerson-Revell, 2019) .
Economic Factors
Factors influencing the market and economic conditions of an economy are termed as
economic factors. Unemployment, tax rates, laws, wages are some of the economic factors
affecting the education policies. As the course of wine specialist needs huge funds, it is necessary
for the country to have a low unemployment rate. Wine have a high tax rate which is the biggest
source of revenue for the government. Hence its production will benefit the country in gaining
financial stability. This factor may induce learners to apply for this course.
2.2 Impact of current educational policies on curriculum and practice in area of specialism
Policies of education comprises of the rules and policy decisions which encourages the
aspect of education and it is the gathering of principles as well as laws which regulates the
activities of education system. Existing educational policies involves study programmes,
occupational qualification, literacy promotion, generating curriculum and many more. It is
essential to put in the out laid consideration in curriculum to better enhance knowledge of
students. In educational curriculum, literacy is important to involve as it played crucial role in an
individual's life and facilitate them to read and write effectively(Parsons, and MacCallum,
2019). For an curriculum to be effective, it is mandatory to include all the cited considerations
which allowed an individual to better comprehend all the concepts in their area of specialism.
For instance, at the beginning of education of a student, they must be provided with effective

curriculum activities which will provide them the significance of learning in their life. These out
laid educational policies have great influence on my area of specialism which is wine specialist.
In my area, it is essential for me to understand all the policies made in education which can help
me further. Moreover, it allows me to take better and effective decisions about wines according
to its benefits on human health. This involves educates people about wines and provides prompt
as well as efficient services(Turner, 2021) .

3.1 Explain the roles of stakeholders and external bodies in education and training
Stakeholders play a crucial role in the education and learning sector. They provide support to the
educational institutions in terms of money, time and interest. They invest their resources in the
growth and development of the institutions. The education sectors operate their business with the
help of such stakeholders. The success of the educational organizations id based on the
involvement of the stakeholders. The stakeholders are an important part of the institutions like
schools. Their functions are explained in the following points-
 The activities takes place in the schools are administered by the stakeholders and the
external bodies in order to contribute in the management of such institutions. Both the
functionaries plays an important part in maintaining the operations of the schools.
 The stakeholders and the external bodies makes various strategies and plans in order to
enhance the development of the schools. They are involved in improving the areas where
the schools are lacking behind. They take the required decisions for the betterment of the
schools. They forms a part of management committee of the schools to prepare an
transmutation plan for the future growth(Mandouit, 2018) .
 The schools are able to deliver the desired results because of the stakeholders and the
external bodies. They also participate in the different school activities in order to
accomplish the development goal. Various programs are conducted in the schools with
the assistance of the stakeholders and the external bodies. As their involvement in the
school activities is important.
 They also provide with the new techniques and tools which can be used for innovating
and creating new ideas and opinions which can lead towards better learning of the
students. For example- maintain g the labs with new equipments, introducing advanced
technologies, digitalizing the laboratories, introducing new sports activities like shooting,
horse riding, etc.
 They are responsible for day to day operations of the schools and are accountable for the
same as they are the members of the top level management of the institutions(Wong, . and
Looi, , 2020).
3.2 Explain how being accountable to stakeholde3rs and external bodies impacts an
organizations in the matter of education and training
It is not important that the stakeholders only affect the educational institutions in a positive
sense. They also possess the negative aspect and can adversely impact the institutions. In order to

reduce this situation of peril, the stakeholders are made responsible for every action that has been
taken in terms of the interest of the schools. The stakeholders and the external bodies are under
the obligation of performing their part with due diligence and reasonableness, which means that
if they perform any function related to the institutions, they must be answerable to that with a
proper reason if anything negative happened in the interest of the schools. They are required to
be answerable to the employees as well as the people who are involved with the school in one or
the other manner. In order to avoid any consequences in the future, it bis necessary for them to
take the responsibility of the decisions that are passed with their sanction. The term
'accountability' could be explained as the answer-ability, responsibility, liability towards the
actions and decisions taken by a person or by the people. And it is important to make the person
liable for its own course of actions(Johnstone, 2019) . The task of being accountable for any act
is not a burden for an individual, instead of that it helps in enhancing the performance of the
individual . The accountability of the stakeholders and the external bodies influence the
performance of the educational institutions. For example- the stakeholders use to make the
improvement plans and renders various ideas for the development of the schools, and in case if
any of the strategy fails in any manner, then the stakeholders would be liable for the same. This
will create a sense of responsibility towards the institution and they will try to solve the
disparities in the planning structure. Accountability also lays a positive impact on the training
and senior staff of the institutions in order to provide training to the learners by holding the
responsibility for the same. If the factor of accountability is not present among the stakeholders
then they will not going to perform the tasks for which they are responsible in a effective and
efficient manner. The educational organizations are able to deliver the desired results by
achieving the set goals only when the element of accountability is present.
3.3 Explain why it is important to work in partnership with the employers and other stakeholders
in education and training.
It is important to work in a partnership by taking assistance of the stakeholders and the
employers because of the increasing competition among the educational institutions, and due to
increase of the competitors, the institutions are facing rigidity in forming the structure planning
for the institutions. This make the situation more complex in order to understand the issues
among educational institutions(Hoffmann, and et.al, 2020) . The proper functioning of the
educational organizations is highly dependent upon the better training and learning opportunities
provided by the institutions. The students are experiencing a lot of pressure in terms of study and
other activities that can be handled by the involvement of the stakeholders and the employers
through partnership. This will also helps in meeting the targets of the institutions efficiently and
effectively. Indulging with the partnership of the stakeholders and the employers will provide
many benefits to the educational organizations that are discussed below-
 The organizations can achieve the desired goals and the objectives with the assistance of
the stakeholders and the employers. The decision making power of both the stakeholders
and the employers make it easy and efficient for the educational institution to perform
more effectively.
 The partnership with the stakeholders and the employers will also helps in providing
better training and learning to the students which enhance their level of performance and
help them to achieve the desired results. Because the educational institutions work in
order to render best of the learning and training programs to the students to encourage

of availability of resources, saving the costs, quality assuring techniques, elimination of
risk factors, meeting the requirements of the students, providing opportunities for the
better exposure of the students.
3.4 Impact of being accountable to stakeholders and external bodies on curriculum design,
delivery and assessment in own area of specialisation.
The element of accountability in the external bodies and the stakeholders directly influence the
curriculum structure of the educational institutions. The designing of the curriculum is being
done according to the students needs. The curriculum is a kind of learning material which
includes handouts of the notes and the books or PDFs which is accessed by the students for
better learning process(Hargreaves, and O'Connor, 2018) . The curriculum must be created in
order to enhance the learning capacity of the students. Accountability among the external bodies
and the stakeholders affects the framework of the curriculum as it requires an element of
responsibility so as to meet the quality assurance, flexibility in the learning process, enhancing
the skills and knowledge of the students, etc. In my opinion, the factor of accountability is
necessary to be developed in each and every individual in order to perform the tasks in an
efficient way. It will further helps in managing the records of the students in a organised manner
which includes the work of maintaining the records of the students. As a wine specialist, it is my
responsibility to make the students aware about the different books and materials that will fulfil
the requirements of the students according to the curriculum. The factor of accountability ensure
that the objectives of the educational institutions in terms of education and training must be
achieved effectively.

4.1 Aspects of policies, codes of practice and guidelines of organisation
There are certain codes of practices which is required to be comprehend by a wine
specialist so that they can perform their task effectively. Some of the policies are described
underneath which highlights how I can ethically practice my wine specialist job:
Health and Safety Act, 1974- According to this act, it is essential that schools ensures
health as well as safety of their students. Several incidents are happenings nowadays where
students are harmed in school premises which deteriorate image of schools. Thus, for wine
specialist it is necessary that they follow proposed guidelines of this act. While providing
training about different types of wine, the specialist should ensure that they keep in mind the
health aspect of each student. Wine specialist must facilitate that no students is being harmed and
should identify in advance if any students have allergy from specific ingredient.
The Equality Act, 2010- It is compulsory for teachers that they treat every student equally
irrespective of their gender, caste, race etc (Gravett, 2022) . and do not engage in any type of
discrimination activities. Regulations made by this act should be taken into consideration by
wine specialist. They must provide equal knowledge and information about their area without
discriminating students on their intellectual basis.

Data Protection Act, 1988- It is essential that every member of schools understand the
importance of protecting and safeguarding the data related to students as well as their parents. Its
major focus is on to protect the personal information stocked in computers or in paper filing
system of school. For wine specialist, it is necessary that they do not disclose one student
information to other and maintain privacy while dealing with number of students. This act
presented guidelines which should be followed by wine specialist to safeguard interest of
students.

The quality of review and improvement in continuous process, this is because it is known
as quality cycle in the organisation need to do improvement in regular basis quality. In the
quality cycle, there is many function for self assessment and self evaluating which need to
understand the school so they can do this in the effective way. The purpose of self-assessment
and self-evaluation are stated below:
 The self assessment function is included evaluation course, session of informal, review
of self assessment, etc. in the addition, the practice of information, use feedback from
others in very important as this is proved in real information and free from bias.
 The quality cycle uses the response for feedback of student, identification of opportunity
for change, implements the changes for identification, measures the impact of changes,
etc.
 The function will perform through quality management team of school so this will
ensure the quality service which will provide to students. This is very crucial for the
business for maintaining quality which will decide future of the students.
5.3 Measure a learning programme taking report of the quality maintenance of own structure
This is very crucial for the school in which they should maintain the quality for the
education. In the purpose, the Curwen Primary School have to prepare and evaluate the
programme of learning which will ensures the quality (Bailey, and Lee, 2020). The
programming of learning will change through many ways such as learner of survey, formal and
informal learner feedback, groups focus, review of team, checking expectations of meeting, on-
programme for finding satisfaction, targets meeting, action plan opportunity, achievement of
learner records, etc. there are many crucial activities which will be performed in school as this
will assist them for evaluate the learning programmes. The evaluation of learning programme,
the school will found deviations or flaws in the course. This leads in more improvement which

will aid them in maintaining the quality of education service in school. Maintaining the quality in
the school will just help the students but this is also very helpful for school as this is able to build
the image of brand in front of the competitors.
5.4 Determine areas for betterment in the learning programme taking account of the outcomes of
evaluation
The identification of improvement areas will be done through the help of SWOT analysis.
The SWOT analysis is effective model for assisting the school which will make the changes
which will overcome with the weaknesses. This is also been done with the help of outcome of
evaluation which will get the learning programmes evaluation(Avis, Fisher, and Thompson,
2018). The school will do this through changing outcome which gives the real situation for
which the areas need improvement. For this purpose this have many tools which are self-
assessment report, feedback given from stakeholders, progression data of student, success and
achievement data, teaching the feedback, the internal and external verification feedback, survey
of student data, retention of benchmark, etc. In the addition, the IQA model is mainly effective

model to support and develop assessors which will monitor the activities or performance. The
IQA model is called as Internal Quality Assurance in this the school is able to find their internal
strength and weaknesses and this becomes easy for identification of the areas of improvement.
These are the diagrams which mentions and states the organisation and how this can be identify
the weak areas. In this diagram, this is mentioned that the school were lacking in programs of e-
learning. After the effect of pandemic, this becomes most necessary for the school in which they
should provide the effective e-learning sessions to the students, so that the students will not face
any loss. But they will fail in the activity for analyse the engagement of the students is very less
in compare to offline study course. This is one of the most important are in which they need for
improve on them with the aid of course of action.

element for an individual. With the assistance of teaching and education, the student is able to
