INTRODUCTION
Learning is very important in organisation as it creates better work force which is
necessary for the commencement of operations. Productivity can be increased by learning which
helps in generating increased profits (Pedler and Hsu, 2018). This report will include short essays
on learning outcomes on the basis on weekly lectures. It includes various modules like project
management, emotional intelligence, coaching, lecture interviews, lecture knowledges and many
more. All these modules help students in learning new things and skills so that they can
implement these skills in their practical and professional life.
MAIN BODY
WEEK 1
Knowledge , skills and behaviour assessment
Knowledge assist in grabbing new opportunities and achievement of various competitive
advantages which help individuals as well as organisation. It shapes the mind and influence the
thinking pattern of an individual so that they can take effective decisions for the operations. It
enhance the learning power, skills and abilities of the individual which help them in
commencement of operations. It transform the personality which is required by the organisation
and create positive work environment (Kumar and Mohite, 2018). I have enjoyed this module
because it helps me in inculcating my personal and professional skills which will support my
career development. During the lectures and assessment I have learnt various skills but I am not
sure that those learnt skills will practically work during operations or not. If those skills will not
for me I will definitely gain more experience on the workplace. Various skills like technical
skills, leadership skills, team work skills, etc. can help in building my career in effective manner.
It help me in solving problems and making strategic decisions so that I can achieve prescribed
goals. Self improvement and self assessment is very necessary for an individual so that they can
develop the behaviour and attitudes which is necessary for the growth. I will work on my
weaknesses so that I can improve my desired skills which is required in modern work
environment.

WEEK 3
Self-development and self-leadership
It helps in enhancement abilities which results in building better and skilled human
capital. This lecture turns out to be very interesting and useful because of various leadership
models and their roles. This helped me in enhancing my various skills like technical skills,
interpersonal skills and conceptual skills. These skills helped me in maintaining good
relationships with my fellows which eliminates conflicts and problems. There are various types
of leadership theories which I have learnt during the lecture which includes transformational
leadership, charismatic leadership and transactional leadership. These theories guided me how to
influence the behaviours of others so that they carry out operations in effective manner (Serban,
2021Zubr, 2018). Self leadership plays important role in controlling the behaviour of own which
directly related to the goals which have to be achieved. I want to become more dedicated towards
my work which make me conscious about my work that whether these skills are sufficient for me
or not. If there will be any requirement for more skills, I will take read more assessments and
modules to enhance my various leadership skills. I want to assess factors which make me more
efficient and help me in develop my career in better manner. In future I want to develop skills
which help me in self motivation and provides right direction for the work because it is very
important for an individual to stay motivated so that they can develop their career,
WEEK 4
Emotional Intelligence
It is very important to involve emotional intelligence in the leadership because it helps in
making strong and difficult decisions, adapt critical changes effectively and resolve conflicts
easily. It is very interesting for me to use my emotional skills in solving problems and creating
new and innovative ideas. Emotional intelligence consist of various skills like empathy,
motivation, self awareness, social skills and self regulation (Aziz and Hodeib, 2021). I have
learnt how to deal with complicated situations which are affecting working environment. I am
not completely sure that emotional intelligence will work for all the situations because it is very
difficult to overcome the fear and hesitation in short period of time. I will perform practical
operations on regular basis so that I can inculcate new abilities related to emotional intelligence.
I want to develop team so that I can work in groups which will help me in assessing my strengths
and weaknesses. I want to track my personal integrity, ability to inspire others and

communication skills. It can reduce my stress and pressure which increase my potential to work

WEEK 5
CVs and Cover Letters
Curriculum vitae involves all the details about an individual about their education,
experiences, achievements, hobbies and background. This reflects a summary of a person based
on their career which is used at to application of job. Cover letter includes specific information
including specific formal format. During the formation of cv, it is necessary to include only
relevant things and should be eliminated various things like marital status, transferable skills,
references on request and unprofessional email id (Summers and et.al., 2022). I have created my
cv by including factors which describes my personality and traits. I have learnt various things
about cv and cover letters like it should be formed in proper format so that interviewer can
evaluate my skill, abilities and knowledge in effective manner. It helped in achieving new
opportunities which can shape my career and develop my career in required manner. Cv should
not involve negative aspects like failures and weaknesses because I am not sure that interviewer
can aspect that from an interviewee. It have learnt that cv should consist powerful words which
can influence the mind of interviewer. We can also customize cv according to the requirements
of the job and can highlight the changes which are necessary for the job. Cover letters should
include details of skills which is vital for the particular position in the organisation. I have
highlighted my interest in cover letter which is effectively related with my job. I also added
various researches which I have done during my academic session which creates positive impact
on my cv.
WEEK 6
Interviews
The session which includes answer and question round for evaluating the skills and
abilities of candidates so that organisation can hire applicable candidate. It is very interesting
way to identify the required skills according to the demands of an organisation. I discovered new

things about interview including work on job descriptions so that I can face the job related
questions effectively. I have learnt that is should honestly and confidently give answers so that I
create good impression. During interviews I should review my experience which I have gained
during the projects I have worked on. There is a negative aspect of interview which I am not sure
about that, interviews can not judge all the skills and qualities of an individual effectively. It
should be more specific in terms of identification of knowledge as interviews are path way to
career (Feng and et.al., 2021). I want to practice more on my confidence building and
communication skills which help me in clear the interview. I want to be more open and
expressive in front of my interviewer which help in standing out of the crowds. I can develop my
personality by inculcate essential skills so that I create differences in front of interviewer. I make
sure that I thoroughly prepare about my roles and responsibilities which help me in cracking the
interview. I will also work on my body language so that it look more formal and presentable
during the interview.
WEEK 7
Academic Writing
The writing which includes reports, academic work and fieldwork research related to
academics is termed as academic writing. I have learnt that academic writing should be
structured, clear, focussed, concise and written with some evidences and references. It should
include content which help reader in understanding the purpose of information (Gil, Carrillo and
Fonseca-Pedrero, 2018). It is very important for me to inherit literacy skills and proper
vocabulary knowledge so that I can effectively start the academic writing. To read the academic
writing I should possess sound knowledge of reading skills so that I can evaluate what is the
content is expressing. There are several meanings of one word which makes differences in
understanding. This can create negative impact on reader's mind because interpretation and
perception can change the meaning of words and sentences in academic writing. Writing should
be done in particular structure which includes introduction, main body and last is conclusion. I
want to enhance my vocabulary and grammatical knowledge which will help me in writing
content more effectively and accurately. I want to learn how can I express the real meaning of
words through academic writing so that readers can gain required knowledge. I will read more
articles and content related to academic writing so that I can increase my writing and literacy
skills. Reading and writing of academic content can develop my career in desired manner.

WEEK 8
Performance reviews
The formal assessment which helps in evaluation of strength and weaknesses, employee's
performances, establish future goals and offer feedbacks. I have learnt various advantages of
performance reviews like it helps in promotion and improvement of work performances. I can
enhance my productivity and increase the level of knowledge so that it can grow my career.
There are various performance appraisal techniques like rating scales, critical incidents, forced
choice techniques and self assessment (Zheng and et.al., 2018). All these techniques help me in
evaluating the potential which is used during performance reviews. It is not necessary that these
skills are only way to achieve goals. There are many other factors which helped me in
performing better manner by using abilities. Evaluation sometime create negative impact on the
mind of an individual because performance review can not judge the skills of person. I will work
more on my communication and writing skills so that I can effectively perform in my field of
expertise. It help me in performing the job in effective manner with required skills so that I can
develop my career.
WEEK 9
Coaching
It refers to the enhancement of potential and maximize the knowledge of an individual by
nurturing the talent. Coaching support the person so that they can develop the skills and abilities
which are valuable. It is very interesting that coaching can influence my performance in positive
direction. I have learnt that coaching improves the mental strength and ability to think more
better and positive. With the help of coaching I can takes critical decisions for my performances
and plan various steps which is needed in my field. I can achieve my personal goals by
developing my personality through coaching. I am not sure about that coaches which are
providing coaching are knowledgable or not because it creates great impact on learning. I select
experienced coach who can develop my skills so that I can obtain goals in best possible manner.
I want to carry out some specific research to initiate the coaching related to my career growth
and development. Coaching helps me in maintaining the mental stability so that I can perform
required operations. I want to explore more opportunities for growth by gaining more
experiences. This will lead to more satisfaction towards personal and professional life. Higher
productivity and positive changes can be be evaluated with the right coaching. I want to be more

Project Management
It is the framework which help in achievement of goals during the project work by
managing various activities. I have learnt that products are usually created to particular products,
services, skills and knowledge. It is the unique method to showcase the activities in combined
manner so that I can achieve my required goals (Li and Wong, 2020). There are various skills
which are needed during project management which includes technical expertise, leadership, risk
management and many more. Managing project is difficult sometime because there are different
methods to evaluate the content of project. I have faced various problems during project
management such as communication gaps, unrealistic expectations, lack of project visibility and
lack of proper planning. I want to carry out proper follow ups so that projects are initiated in the
proper manner. Management of time is equally important so that I can manage the operations of
project in effective manner. I will definitely learn how to use various tools and techniques so that
there are no chances created for project failures. I want to inherit more communication and
interpersonal skills so that I can coordinate in better manner with my project partners. Team
work is very essential for accomplishment of any project because it involves different sections
and departments. I would like to learn how to carry out operations in more accountable and
responsible manner. I should set the precise and clear goals so that it can help me in manage
various risks by establishing baselines for performances.

CONCLUSION
From the above report it is concluded that learning helps an individual in building their
careers. It enhances the abilities, skills, knowledge and experience so that person can achieve
success. Every organisation require skilled person who can contribute their positive efforts for
the achievement of goals and objectives. This report included various departments and aspects of
