to retain for higher productivity. Professional development also help the employees to perform
with confidence which is most important in the hotel industry for better representation. It also
helps to improve goal planning, reenergising process of staff and improve the efficiency of hotel.

The employer wants to recruit the employees with relevant skills which are good for the
organization's productivity and performance. In the hotel industry for role of manager the person
should have different skills like vocational skills, Generic skills and personal skills. The
vocational skills are consists of specific managerial skills and crafting skills. Generic skills are
