For organizing a training & development event all the activities are planned in manner so no last
minute pressure will suffer and it would be effective as lots of internal people will have this
experience as positive.
Identification of to do list – it is the very first step as in this all the activities are decided
apart from that it gives a clear idea of what needs to do for organizing an event for
training & development.
Establishing the objectives – it is the part in which the objectives are decided as in
training event it is the main objective that every individual will part in this event and will
learn all the required things.
Prioritization – it is the technique in that work and activities are prioritized according to
its number, urgency and importance.

Planning the techniques – here in this process the various tools and techniques are
decided for the desired objectives such as type of training sessions, workshops, seminar
and then motivational speech and feedback from the audience.
Task scheduling – here in this process every task can be schedulized according to the
total time limit as how much time is given to the speech and how much is given for the
workshops.
Outcome assessment – it is the time to check feedback and evaluating the training and
development impact by simply asking, by emails or by any other means of feedback.

threats as problems and strengths and opportunities are used to solve this problem. For
delivering proper event with desired outcome there is a need to keep the event hurdles
free.
PESTLE – it is very helpful technique to develop solution as it gives all the information
to evaluate the macro environment. If any problem occurs in any of the macro element
that can be recognised and solution can be made accordingly. These elements of macro
environment gives solution for the technological and other problem in successful event
organising as some employees can be there who are not familiar with the technological
advancement so cannot able to attend the event.
Sampling and identifying the gap – this includes applying set solutions techniques to seek
the right solution for the particular problem. To get an appropriate solution various types
of solutions are used and then the best fit solution is selected. This technique is basically
assessing the all possible solutions so the correct one can be the final approach with all
the effectiveness.
M2 Research the use of different problem-solving techniques used in the design and
delivery of an event.
All the techniques that are discussed need a proper approach for problem solution here that
proper approach is described that needs to be considered in any problem solving technique.
Identification of problem – it is the most primary step where problem is identified. In this
section, nature of problem, causes of problems and types are identified. For the event of

training organising there can be communication problem so it is the first stage to find out
the problem.
Planning – it is the technique in that the appropriate allocation of solutions is made. In
this step different strategies are framed to get solutions for the problem. All the data &
information is collected then its proper utilization is done in this.
Execution – in this stage or approach all the solutions are tested as various solutions are
chosen for problem so in this step a particular solution is chosen out of various solutions
to solve specific problem.
Evaluation – it is the step where the appropriate and best fit solution is evaluated or
analysed. It is done because it is very important to know that particular solution is good
or not for specific problem. If it is best fit then the finalisation is done but if any gap is
identified the causes of that gap are found and then work is done upon that.
P4 Demonstrate that critical reasoning has been applied to a given solution.
The discussed solution techniques are very useful to solve the problems. All the discussed
techniques give all the macro and micro environment elements such as SWOT, PESTLE. All
these elements provide correct evaluation so problems are solved according to the influence
factor. For example while organising an event for workshops and other activities, there can be a
problem of ineffective communication, personal issues and etc so these can be identified through
SWOT and PESTLE techniques then strengths and opportunity can be used to develop solutions.
All these factors are really so much important for problem solving. The macro environment
factors such as technology is very useful to find the correct solution such as for effective
communication advanced technologies are used to reach to every individual. By analysing all the
factors and elements an effective solutions can be formulated for any kind of problem. These
techniques are also economic in nature and takes place with wide range. The sampling technique
helps to test the various solutions and their evaluation in terms of finding the most appropriate
solution. Step by step procedure from problem identification to solution execution gives detail
analysis of the problems and also provides various alternative solutions which are also can be
used after some modification. These techniques give several solutions so if potential problem

given problem solving techniques in effective manner then only desired outcome can be
achieved.
M3 Justify the use and application of a range of solution methodologies.
All the methodologies which are discussed earlier are very important for problem solving
because these methods as SWOT, PESTLE and analysing are very simple and easy methods
which can be used effectively without any heavy investments.
Justification for SWOT – it provides very deep knowledge of pros and cons of the Home
and Bargains so solutions can be developed with the help of strengths and opportunities
can be utilized to be competitive. It gives weakness so keeping this in view solution is
developed.
Justification for PESTLE – these are the strong elements and if any problem generates
these factors can be very helpful to find out the solution and it also gives deep and
intensive research scope.
Justification of sampling – identification of gap is very essential method while
developing the solutions. If an organisation is aware about the deviations the solutions
generation would be more appropriate and correct manner.
P5 Discuss the importance of team dynamics in the success and/or failure of group work.
Team are very important as it provides shared responsibilities so every member is clear with
his/her duty and responsibilities so the more efforts can be put by them in right manner. Team is
developed within a process which is known as team development process it includes some stages

Every stage is important because at every stage there is something to learn as at the first stage
teams are formed to attain the goal here the goal is designing an event for training so different
employees are selected to form a team. At the norming stage all the members shares their
information to each other and starts try to understand each other. At the stage of storming team
starts sharing ideas and exchange opinions regarding the task so it becomes easy to generate
many ideas. At the last stage team starts performing according to individual’s duty and
responsibilities. Team work is really important as it develops mutual support so every individual
feels protected and creates great understanding for each other it helps to increase productivity
