INTRODUCTION
Professional practices refer to work and conduct of someone from specific profession, it
may set standards of ethics, insurance, competence, performance, training and so on that will be
met to remain within profession. Different types of research methods are available for
professional practices, as it help to improve the knowledge and work practices of researcher
effectively. The aim of professional practices is to maintain and direct safe competent in research
practices. The current report is based on implementation of green technology in small & medium
size Indian foundry. This study is designed to develop critical understanding of formal methods
of investigate and justify proper methods of research conduct by researcher. It explains the
continuous professional development plan, reflective piece of work and learning log.
Furthermore, this study clarifies the background of research, rationally, aim and SMART
objectives. It justifies research methods, Literature review and project management plan. It also
defines the risk management log and ethics, social, professional and other consideration while
conducting research.
PART ONE-
Continuous professional development
I would like to defined my past achievements, begin with my academic background, I
was accomplished S.S.C in 2005 and H.S.C in 2007 from Gujarat higher secondary education
Board. After passing the schooling year, I did my further study in Mechanical engineering and
barred first class from Charotar association of technology, in 2011. In 2014, I was completed my
Master of technology from Charotar University of technology and science. I work so hard to
achieve my career objectives and to stay at the top in class. After all above things I started my
professional career as working as Lecturer in D.A diploma in Engineering technology,
Mahemadabad from 1/ 7/ 2014 to July 2015. Thereafter, I would like to switch to another job
role in Narayan shastri institute of technology, Ahemdabad where I begin working as lecturer. I
gained greater knowledge and good experience in my filed that help in further career. I waas able
to work in team of people, that help to completed task effectively. The above statement define
my current experience as employee.
Due to advancement in all areas, other fields like research, management, IT and many
more are needed person along with some good technical knowledge. It makes me drive towards
technological field, and after considering the fact I decided to move my education further and

take up MSc project management from UK. It defined my further career growth, that help to take
my professional career at top. In simple words, the technological advancement drive me towards
selecting my future career goal, that mentioned above.
The main reason behind choosing UK for further study because their qualifications and
higher education level is well recognized by academics and workers worldwide. Here, students
get the change to develop knowledge, connections, skills and critical thinking to drive forward
their careers. The degree which I got from UK education institute is precious it recognized by
international universities, government bodies and top employers, it helps to create wider number
of opportunity to work within different multinational organizations. It caters the changes like
large choice in selecting field of institution as well as study, short period of courses that helps to
reduce accommodations costs, English language help to develop the best language abilities as it
is very essential in international digital time period. Along with this, there are many reasons
behind I chose UK for further study. Teachers in UK institutes interact with provision of
combing various subjects into single course. UK is one of the most popular destination in world,
people come to study higher education, the institutes enrolling 500,00 international students each
year. Excellent quality postgraduate study chances is also accessible at majority of UK
universities, with some academic institutes offer sponsorship to go tier 4 visas. UK's university is
the best way to expand existing knowledge and enhance learning skills rather than before. It
gives opportunity to meet with new people, enjoy new experience and experience a new culture.
But due to lack of communication skills I cannot be able to communicate effectively with
other while studying at university. It defines my weakness that will impact in further growth.
Cultural diversity is the another reason behind I chose UK to study more, they offer
cultural diversity environment that help to make me able to experience multicultural environment
in which I have the opportunity to increase my knowledge and learn different languages.
UK's universities offer merit based scholarship programs to its students and funding
chances that support in my further study and cost of living, which is quite beneficial. I get plenty
of support at universities, and opportunity to experience great candidates lifestyles. Whatever my
interest, there are vast range of societies and diverse social life on offer. 50,000 courses in more
than 25 topic area is available within UK universities among which I can choose accordant to my
interest. The high cost of living is one of threat that affect further study aim in UK university.

The benefits of choosing higher education in UK is that courses are mostly shorter than
other nations in world, it helps to reduce overall tuition fees. It is the best place to study, they
have multicultural community, with rich diversity of languages, cultures and faiths. I will find
widely strong transport links, international sporting championships and other things that enhance
current learning experience and help in developing the new ones. Within UK, universities advise
all students what standard of English is needed for their course, most course provider will inquire
students to demonstrate proficiency in English. UK is also considered to travel to for reason of
education as well as earning. Generations of global students have come to this nation for its
education, it means that British universities have years of experience in working with global
students. For all above reasons, I decided to chose to study in UK because it is beneficial and
helpful for me.
In UK there are numerous universities available, it is quite difficult for me to choose the
best one. After conducting depth research through several universities in country, I came to final
results that the Northumbria University is appropriate for my further study as they offer industry
centred courses through which I can acquire project chances alongside systems delivered by
industry & academic professionals. This things will provide me theoretical and practical
knowledge. The Northumbria university is located in Newcastle upon Tyne in England, UK, it
described itself as comprehensive university, providing 30 of Britain's 32 frequently chosen
academic courses. It specializes in, business and law, computing, built environment, arts &
Design, applied healthcare, teacher education and sports science. The second reason for which I
chose to study in this university is that there is educatee hub facility through which I will obtain
fantastic student experience which will able me to acquire accustomed adapt to educational
institution and surrounding to life there.
In Northumbria University range of courses available, but I chose to study MSC project
management, it helps me to create wider management and leadership skills for university system.

Those mentioned skills are very important and effective for people to maintain it's their
growth factors. This creates more effectiveness for becoming successful in getting further
learnings and education in mechanical engineering. As per the PDP some skills are very weak in

that required to improve all those skills by using some action which are mentioned in log of
achievement which is the list of 20 separate activities. Those skills which are needs to
improvement which are Strategic planning, Inductive and deductive reasoning, Project
management, Decision making, Interpretation skills and Commercial awareness. Those
mentioned skills are needs some improvement in effective manner. If those are not meet and
improve properly then its create negative impact in the future. For that here is mention some
skills which are needs for improvement in better manner (Yamada, 2015). At the time of
improving commercial awarenesses, I have little problem which is about the selection of
websites. Through that I am not able to get proper and effective work.
On the other side, here is also faced problem when take any decision in each and every
decision which is based on situation. In that faces problem because situations are suddenly
generated and make proper work and its growth factors. It is very important for mechanical
engineer to take best decisions in situations for solve that in proper manner. For improving
decision-making skills here is need to develop works and make the best decision for improve
mistakes which are happens at workplace in effective manner (Pavese, 2016). With the help of
PDP personal development plan and log activities are reflects various actions or management
plan through all those activities are improved where exactly needs for improve those in effective
manner by creating work.
There is also mention those skills in that I am expert and not need any actions. But for
keeping those better follow those actions in effective manner. Like: time management skills are
very important and effective and manage work by dividing proper priorities of work. With the
help of this, work is completed on time and creates higher growth factors. For that make proper
schedule for work by dividing work and time like which work is more important and which to
complete first and on time (Coeckelbergh, 2015). This creates higher responsibility. By
improving and maintaining all those skills helps to achieve goals and objective of personnel.
This help to take education in Mechanical engineering at UK. This helpful for create higher
opportunities for education because create advanced management skills in effective manner.
