LO 1
P 1 Demonstration of effective communication styles and formats used to deliver training event
for target audience
Communication is one of the most important thing which is required to be focused on in
order to complete a group or team task in a proper and successful manner (Jiang, Zhang and
Zhou, 2018). Each individual has their own type of communication style using which they
communicate with each other. There are four main types of communication styles: passive,
aggressive, passive aggressive and assertive. As a Team Leader Communication style adopted by
me was Assertive. Open communication was done where each and every one open to express
their own needs, desires, ideas and feelings. Other than this communication format chosen was
written where each group member communicated with each other in written format. For this a
separate WhatsApp group was created and using mails all the important documents or activity
results were shared with each group member. Either on WhatsApp group or using email
communication was done during all the activities.
P 2 Demonstration of effective time management skills in planning
Time management skills
The time management skills play an important role within the workplace and thus is
highly important for effective working. Some of the most commonly used time management
skills are: Setting the objectives, prioritizing the workloads, keeping the appointments as well as
scheduling the tasks as well as activities Time management basically means how an individual is
able to prioritize the workload and set the various objectives by effectively using the time. In
order to enhance productivity and performance of whole team individual plan was developed in
which all the activities, time period in which activity is to be done, progress and action was
identified. This individual plan helped us in completing all the activates on time. As per the
desired milestones these activities of the task were divided. This individual plan also helped
whole team in understanding which activity was required to be done in what time period. With
the help of this plan some of the activities were even completed in advance like quiz and survey.
LO 2
P 3 Problem-solving techniques used in designing and delivering an event
Whenever a group activity or task is done, it is quite obvious problems or issues occur
during the task or during an activity (Nonaka, Hirose and Takeda, 2016). It is one of the most

important responsibility of a team leader to resolve these issues or problems that occur during a
group task or activity. There are various common problems that can occur during a task. For this
a poster through which we delivered main message or motive of our team. Other than this, we
also developed a troubleshooting user guide so that if any kind of problem again approvers in
future then it can be used to resolve it. Other than this a survey was conducted in which
viewpoint of target audience and team members was asked and if they had any kind of query or
doubt they were free to provide their view point within the survey. These were some of the
problem solving techniques that were used to identify and resolve all kinds of issues or problems
faced by team members and target audience.
P 4 Critical reasoning that has been applied to deliver an event
Critical reasoning can be defined as analysis of facts in order to form a judgement. It is an
ability to skilfully analyse and evaluate any activity to be completed in time and in skilful
manner. Before starting the group activity an initial plan was developed in which all the main
activities of the task were listed down with the time period in which those activities were
required to be completed. When the group task started a new plan was developed in which all the
defined activities were segregated and divided among the team members as per the knowledge
and skills of the team members. But even with the new plan there were various kinds of issues
that were faced by the team that worked as a barrier for the team in delivering the event
successfully. In order to overcome these issues or problems a master plan was developed in
which all the activities were divided into sub activities with the milestones in which they were
required to be achieved. In this master plan progress of all the events were motioned and updated
continuously with its current status i.e. whether it is completed or in progress or in hold.
LO 3
P 5 Importance of team dynamics in the success of group work
Team dynamics can be defined as psychological or unconscious forces that influences
direction of a team performance and behaviour (Driskell, Salas and Driskell,2018). For a good
team dynamic, it is important for a team to have an effective team manager or a team leader. It is
completely up to a team leader to define nature of a team through positive guidance, fair dispute
resolution. It helps a team to complete a group project successfully but if team leader of a project
is not a good manager then it can limit overall capacity of as team. In order to achieve better and
excellent results it is important for a team leader to have few skills such as: communication is

one of the most important thing and plays a vital role in completion of a project. It helps in
identification and resolving of any kind of issue that occurs within a team, helps in crating
flexibility within the team members. Team leader should motivate their team members so that
they can complete their task effectively without getting demotivated.
P 6 Work within a team to achieve a defined goal
Working within a team with group members helps a team to achieve defied and desired
common goal (Cardno and Tetzlaff, 2017). Each team member has defined roles and
responsibilities within a team that helps whole team to successfully achieve their defined goal
and objectives. In this project all the team members had their own roles and responsibilities
which helps everyone to successfully complete the project on time. Each team member worked
together and completed their responsibilities on time which further helped in achievement of
desired milestones of the project. Some of the activities of the project were even completed by
more than one team members such as presentation making and delivery was done by two team
members together.
LO 4

P 8 Development plan that outlines responsibilities, performance objectives and required skills,
knowledge and learning for future goals
In order to develop identified skills a development plan should be made. This development
