INTRODUCTION
Professionalism plays a vital role at the time if teaching. It is necessary to note that the
teacher must maintain discipline in class so that the students are able to learn properly. This
report is based on further education that is conducted after secondary school, but not at higher
education level (Edirippulige and Senanayake, 2020). The concept of professionalism and dual
professionalism is part of this report. The impact of social, political and economic factors on
education policy is mentioned. There is key role of stakeholders in education and the same is
mentioned. There are specific policies and guidelines of the working institutions and they are
mentioned. It is important to take care of the quality in order to provide quality education to
teachers. The areas of improvement are mentioned in the end of this report.
MAIN BODY
TASK 1
1.1 Define the concept of dual professionalism and professionalism
Professionalism is the concept of knowledge, skills that teachers must have in order to be
effective educators. It helps the teachers to teach the students effectively and make them learn
the concepts in better manner (Dymock and Tyler, 2018). A teacher following the concept of
professionalism is able to provide better education to the students and create discipline in
classroom. This enhances trust and respect in the classroom.
Dual professionalism includes best vocational teaching and is a sophisticated process. It
includes both trainers and teachers with expertise and good experience. They work together so
that the students are able to get best education with good learning practices. The task is necessary
for the students and their overall growth and success.
1.2 Illustrate the ways of following own professional values in an area of specialism
There is key role of taking care of professional values in order to teach effectively. It is seen
that the students need proper support and care in order to teach them. I use integrity and honesty
at the time of teaching and this helps the students to learn effectively. There is need of teaching
fairness to the students so that they are able to develop subject knowledge as well as all the other
areas are being developed (Towey, Walker and Ng, 2018). It is necessary for me to teach fairness
to the students they are able to become successful in life. It is necessary for all the students to

learn these ethics so that their professional development is attained. I am self motivated teacher
and this helps me to teach the same to students. A self motivated person is able to solve all the
problems that arise in path. This helps my students to face all the challenges and then motivate
themselves and attain successful life. It is necessary to follow all the ethics and value while
teaching so that the students are able to gain proper knowledge and guidance.

2.1 Impact of economic, political and social factors on education policy
There are some important factors that have influence on the education policy. It is necessary to
take necessary care of those factors in order to enhance the learning experience of the students.
They are as follows:
Political Factors: The laws and legislations are formulated by government of nation and
they have impact on the education. There are certain laws that are related to curriculum design
and admission procedures (Becher, 2018). It is necessary for the parents and students to check
the particular laws and then provide education and training to the students.
Social Factors: The view point of society also has impact on the education policy.
Nowadays it is important to provided education to all the students. That is the reason these
further education institutes are there. They help to provide special and technical education to the
students.
Economic Factors: The economic condition of the nation has direct impact on the
education. There is need of having good finances in order to teach the students. There are
technological updates in the nation and there is need of good amount of money to get proper
education.
2.2 Influence of current educational policies
In regard to further education there are diverse students. It is necessary to provide them
effective knowledge as per the area of specialisation. Being a teacher, I take proper care of the
diverse nature and learning needs of the students and provide them knowledge as per the latest
curriculum (Mateos Inchaurrondo and et.al., 2018). The updates in the education policy are used
by the institution so that the students are able to learn effectively.

The major stakeholders in the field of education and training are parents, teacher, students,
Curriculum planner, administrator. There are both internal and external stakeholders have impact
on the education. All of them have their own influence on education and training. It is seen that
teacher provide education and training to the students and parents take care of the education
being provided and help them to select best career direction. The curriculum planners are
important to provide best curriculum to the students so that they learn all the important aspects.
The major decisions are taken by the internal stakeholders. The external bodies include schools,
universities and colleges. The form fair laws and regulations for overall development of the
students.
3.2 The importance of being accountable to stakeholders and external bodies
There are various targets that are being set by the stakeholders and it is important to carry
the same effectively. By being accountable to the stakeholders and that enhances the
performance of teacher and students (Tsioutis and et.al., 2020). This helps to enhance the
education policy to the students. It helps the education institutes to manage the work effectively.
3.3 Need of being in partnership with employers and other stakeholders in education
This partnership helps in designing the vocational courses that teach the students in
effective manner. There is need of proper staff development so that the future of students is
bright. The right decisions are being taken by the stakeholders and necessary for overall success
and development of the nation. There is need of being in partnership with all the important
stakeholders in order to attain successful position.
3.4 What is the impact of being accountable to stakeholders
It helps to follow the educational standards that will help to manage the work. The overall
development of the students will also be there. By teaching English to further education students
their work is done in appropriate manner. The best curriculum is being designed for them and
they are delivered proper assessments.

4.1 State the guidelines, , codes of practice and aspects of policies
There is need of following key aspects and policies in order to provide best to all the
related parties. The Equality Act, 2010 helps the teachers to treat all the students equally. They
will be able to learn effectively. Another important Act is Children’s act 1989 and Families
Act 2014 that helps to provide education to young children and all the disable students under 25
must be given education. Health and Safety Act, 1974 assist the students to provide safe and
healthy environment where they can study effectively. This helps them to live a safe and healthy
life. Data protection Act 1988 in schools helps to keep all the important information of the
students private. There is need of maintaining confidentiality of data so that the safe is used only
for professional use (Drude, Maheu and Hilty, 2019). The teachers must also not judge the
students and must keep all the information private.
4.2 What is the impact of organizational requirements and expectations
I take care that students from all the backgrounds must be treated equally and given proper
opportunities to them. There is need of teaching them the lessons of equality so that overall work
is managed by them in future. This helps to design the best curriculum for the students. There is
need of providing opportunities to all the students and growing them. All the students are diverse
and there is need of managing the diversity so that there is inclusive learning. The laws and
legislations always help me to teach the students in effective manner.

5.1 State the meaning of quality improvement and quality assurance
Quality assurance is the systematic review that is done so that the educational institutes
are able to maintain equity and efficiency. There is need of maintaining effective quality so that
the students are able to get best education. It is also important to regularly improve quality the
practices that will develop the education institute better. This helps the students to trust the
institute and let the students study there (Hsieh and Lee, 2018). There is key role of maintain
quality and following all the updates in technology and following them in educational institute.
The improvement is necessary for growth and development.

view of the peers so that good and performance can be measured. This helps to maintain high

enhance the quality of providing training for the benefit of all the students. The maintenance of
quality makes the education and training effectively. It is necessary to assure that best education
is provided to the students. The quality of education will be beneficial for the future development
of the students.
5.4 Identify areas for improvement in the learning programme taking account of the outcomes of
evaluation
It is being analysed that the major area of improvement is communication skills. I lack
interacting effectively and that is my weakness. There is need of effective communication skills
in order to teach the students in appropriate manner. It is necessary to practice more on
communication skill and also take classes so that the students are able to learn properly. Along
with that there is need of being flexible in classroom. It is necessary to use the same in effective
manner for overall development of the students. The learning programme helped me to enhance
the weak areas so that better actions can be taken.

From the above report, it is concluded that education and training must be done by following
professionalism. There is evaluation related to professionalism and dual professionalism in order
to teach the students effectively. Impact of social, political and economic factors is also
mentioned in the report. There is key role of stakeholders and external bodies on the education
and training and the same is mentioned in the report. There is need of being accountable to the
