The case of llnaz is an issue that is concerned with professional ethics when it comes to
working in a workplace with people from diverse backgrounds where there is also the issue of
culture and religion that result in conflict of interest. This clash on professional ethics and the
issue with culture and religion brings an ethical dilemma (Kolb 2008, pp. 53).
Based on Chris Macdonald methodology of decision-making there is the need to identify
the people involved and their associations with those who have hold the decision. A vital aspect
of the decision-making process is to see whether the decision undertaken was good or bad and to
see if the decision is in the best interest of the organization or not. In this scenario, IInaz and
Mark are people that are involved and the company’s manager is the one that holds the decision
(McDermid 2015, pp. 24). This implies that IInaz should not bring the religious and cultural
aspects to the workplace and embrace professional ethics and work with Mark for the benefit of
the stakeholders of the organization. This is because the intention of the manager is good in that
he want Mark and IInaz to share ideas. Therefore, IInaz should ensure that she abides by the
Professional code of ethics that will ensure that the behavior conforms to the organization’s code
of ethics that promotes sharing ideas by co-workers. This is because company’s of ethics guides
the behavior of the employee and the decision of the manager should be respected by IInaz.
The values from the ACS Code of Ethics that should be observed in this case include:
Professionalism
The professionals should limit diversity at the place of work, as well as have pride in
their profession to promote professionalism.

There is the need to accept those work where professional is competent to perform

The professionals should play a leading role in enhancing the quality of life of other
people, satisfaction and competence within the organization.
