After graduating from employees are motivated and tend to develop soft skills and other
articulating skills so that they are selected by employers. There are several criteria that are
being used by employers while selecting valued employees. It is revealed that the selection
criteria that are used by employers include demonstrating capacity to communicate
effectively. It is important that employers need to judge the communication skills of
graduates so that the tasks are managed and performed. Effective communication is about
proper listening, questioning when required and the body language. The selection is based
upon the demonstrated ability in order to motivate and communicate effective.
The next common selection criteria that are used by employer are good organisational and
administrative skills. This factor is essential for the development of the business and to make
effective decisions. It is vital for employees to have basic knowledge towards handling
organisational goals and administration. This increases the confidence of employees and
ensures flexibility in the work. Therefore the employer needs to determine upon the
articulation factors. Administration skills imply that employees are able to manage the
resources and make corrective decisions.
Another criterion for selection is regarding the proven ability to work as part of a team. For
the organisation to be successful it is important that employees work in a team. Team
management is important and ensures coordination within the team. Employees need to be
good team players so that opinions of team members are valued for the growth of the
business. For the management of the job it is an important skill to value others opinions,
listen to others, create new ideas so that the team work is more effective. This increases the
confidence of employees to manage issues within the team through solving problems through
mutual understanding.

The next selection criteria are well developed customer service skills which are about
managing customers. Employees need to have to strong interpersonal skills so that the
changing needs of customer are met. The employer needs to select employees who have
strong communication and are patients so that the services offered are organised. In the
service industry the skill which is required is about being attentive and knowledgeable. Time
management and positive language along with gestures are considered upon before the
selection. For effective selection employers needs to look for patience, attentive in order to
ensure innovation by listening to customer feedbacks. Time management skills are more
concerned factors that might lead to the development of customer services in an efficient
manner.
The last selection criteria are about proven ability to manage projects. The selection is based
upon identification of several skills so that the project is successful. For employer it is vital to
consider upon several factors such as employees having knowledge about the services being
offered. In order to manage projects employees needs to have the skill to manage team, able to
negotiate and manage risks so that the projects are successful. Leadership is another factor that is
taken into account for the purpose of selection and to manage the projects in a successful manner.
One of the most vital skills that I want to develop is communication skills. Communication
skills are of great significance as it helps to manage the organisation and customer. It is
important for employees to communicate factors based upon emotional intelligence so that
the challenges faced are managed through confidence. Communication skills give rise to
various aspects such as motivation, clarity, and friendliness is approach which helps to
manage the projects and team management. I need to improve the communication skills by
becoming active listener, respecting the views of others so that customers and other members
in the team feel valued. I am trying to improve my skills by seeking opportunities to
communicate so that the skills are augmented. The communication skills needs to be clear

I am passionate about improving my communication and listening skills through regular
monitoring and effectiveness. I am a strong team player and tend to coordinate my actions for
managing team. I have a competitive nature and I am focussed towards my work so that the
career can be managed. I work hard and my passion is to ensure success through my
confidence and the ability to motivate others. I am a listener and have patience hence the
process of decision making is smooth. My dream is to manage a team through attracting team
members and by being attentive. My body language is positive therefore customers are happy
because of the services offered. Furthermore, it is important to manage time and make
decisions through assessing risks hence time management skills are vital. I manage time and
solve problems that are within team so that the productiveness is high. I have good customer
service skills and am goal oriented hence can help business by offering valued services. I
have persuasion skills and try to convince customers through creating knowledge which is
vital for the success of the business. Teamwork skills and understanding team dynamism is
vital to attain the objectives of the business. I am creative and impressive therefore has the
confidence to manage decisions and risks without hesitations.
