REFLECTION
While working I group presentation there were many things which I learned. For me it
was not easy to work in team as I was making presentation for third time. So, it was difficult
for me. Thus, I have shared my experience with help of Gibbs model. It consists of 5 stages
that helps in describing experience. It is as below :
Description
I have learned about the making presentation from my previous task I get from my teachers, it
was the first time I was learning the skills and it helped me to learn how I can work in team with
proper roles assigned and schedule prepared. So, it was easy for me to do so as I was already
having some knowledge about it. this will help me in my professional career. I learned how to
separate content and then it is included in presentation (Arvanitopoulos, Achanta, & Susstrunk,
2017).
Feelings
I felt that my performance was average as I was not able to complete my task in given
time. So, this created a poor impression on my team members. This is because I did not
prepare any schedule that how to work. Also, I did not take any help or support from others. I
faced certain problems in it. I made many mistakes in beginning and was not able to understand
that how decisions are taken. Then, I faced problem to apply decision. I did it in wrong way and
it took lot of time for me to learn it. in order to overcome both problem first of all I prepared
notes on it and learned what steps are followed. My team members felt I need to enhance my
time management skills. Due to my mistake entire presentation was finished late.
Evaluation
I evaluated my entire performance during group presentation. There were many things
that went well and many which was not. Here, I found that I was easily able to make decision in
case we got stuck. It is because my decision making skills are at high level. Also, another thing
which went well was team work. We all work together in effective way. The things that did not
got well was lack of communication between us. i did not interacted properly with each other
and also did not took help of them. so, it lead to conflicts with my colleague. here, my
contribution was not much. But other people highly contributed in group presentation and
completed their task on time (Langbehn & et.al., 2017).
Analysis

I analysed that there are certain areas in which my performance my good and in some it
was not up to mark. Besides that. I need to possess advance skills such as problem solving, time
management skills, etc so that I can improve my performance. I need to highly focus on
communication skills as I was weak in interacting with others. I did not asked questions as well
in case I faced some issue. So, I need to take help of expert who can train me. Besides that, I
must set short term goals and develop PDP as well that will provide direction to me in attaining
my goals. I think that I need to develop communication and time management skills. it will help
me in my personal growth as well.
Conclusion
I have learnt that how to work in team and manage time by completing task in deadline. I have
gained knowledge about design, font styles, etc. and how to make attractive presentation.
Furthermore, I got experience of leading team as well for some time and gain knowledge about
leadership skills. This also showed me that how leader work and deal with situation within team.
so, I will put my effort to learn how to become leader and lead team so that I can become leader
in future and enhance my capability. My decision-making skill can help me to handle this kind of
situation more effectively and in better way. In some areas I was not good but I feel that I can
improve it with the time and I can work in team and communicate properly with others.
Action plan
I need to develop a action plan so that I am able to develop my skills. it will help me in
my career growth. Besides that, I need to focus on my weak areas and improve them. So, I can
take suggestions from teacher, friends, mentor etc that how I can implement action plan. They
will motivate me as well.
