INTRODUCTION
There are ample of skills such as communication, management, leadership skills are
essential to get success in academic as well as in professional career (Baldwin, 2016). Skills and
experience both are necessary for growth and development. Learners need to be proactive and
gather maximum skills during academics in order to perform better at work place in future. The
current reflection comprises an evaluation that is essential to become a good learner along with
examples and approaches to perform well in future.
REFLECTION
Elaborate how you have developed as a learner along with your experience on the module
There are ample of skills such as communication, presentation skills that are essential to
explore and grow in future. Predefined goals can be achieved by enhancing capabilities Being a
learner I analysed that there are certain competencies which I need to develop in order to achieve
set objectives. This will also help me to explore in professional career and differentiate myself
from others. One of the most essential ability in present time is communication skills which
refers to the competency of an individual to convey the message to others in an effective manner.
Nowadays this skill is crucial to put a better impression on other person. To effectively
communicate, it is essential to be an active listener so that one can revert the message properly.
It is a two way process in which two important parties are involved, receiver and sender. In order
to grow in career and make better place among peers, it is significant to effectively communicate
(Chang and Jung, 2018). For this I need to do continuous practice and start reading journals,
newspapers to improve vocabulary. In certain areas such as body language, speech, vocabulary
and other need to be improved in order to get better exposure in personal as well as professional
career. It is vital for overall personality development of an individual and help to perform better
at work place. I personally understand that communication skills are really imperative to interact
with collogues and peers effectively.
For this, I take initiative to communicate with my fellows that will boost my confidence
and make me able to perform better. I participate in class activities such as essay, report writing
in order to improve my writing skills which is crucial part of overall communication. In addition,
I also received guidance from my Mentor on regular basis. They not asses my performance and

give necessary feedbacks to make improvements. Communication is not only about convey
messages from one person to another. To be an effective presenter, it is also essential to be an
active listener so that one can revert message properly. Firstly, I listen to other person carefully
then respond accordingly (Danso, 2018). As communication is all about to convey message in
such a manner that receiver will be able to interpreted it in correctly. It is vital to get proper
reply. deliver several presentation at work place that also help me to improve communication
skills. During presentation I need to answer the question of viewers that boost my confidence
and help me to perform in an efficient manner.
To improve my managerial capabilities I started to take initiatives and accountabilities in
class room. I act as a team leader during various activities. Certain theories such as Belbin' s
team development and Tuckman' s model are used to manage team in best possible way. These
theories help me to manage team at work place.
Another important skill is leadership that I need to improve to work to enhance my
performance in organisation. With this, I will be able to take the accountability of my own work
and put a great influence on followers. There are various leadership style such as democratic,
transformational and autocratic that are vital to guide as well as lead team at work place. As per
my opinion, situational leadership is the most appropriate theory as in this employees are handle
as per the situation. There are no predefined way to lead people thus I act as per the
circumstances occur during work. Therefore, I analysed certain improvements in my overall
personality while graduate from university (Graham and Walton, 2018).
Explanation of approaches pertaining to future opportunities and challenges of a university
course.
I have to face ample of challenges while developing plan for my coursework at
university. Being a student a person need to have certain skills such as communication,
presentation, writing and many more. I have to overcome from my hesitation to speak in public
and face crowd (Hofer, 2017). I also need to improve management and leadership skills to
explore in career. There are various modules in my university coursework that are related to
difference aspects. Teachers make necessary modifications in current modules to provide
updated knowledge to learners. During current pandemic condition online classes are held by
university to control the transmission of infectious diseases.

The expectations of professors are very high and I was able to perform up to the mark in
order to meet get better grades and points during evaluation. I performed ample of presentation
and performed over stage to improve my communication as well as presentation capabilities.
This helped me in overall personality development and growth. In addition, it also boost my
confidence to interact with other in an efficient manner (Lanaj, Foulk and Erez, 2019).
The main aim of above stated framework is to assist me to attain set goals in predefined
period of time. I interacted with various person during my classwork that provide me valuable
insights. In addition, the importance of each subject is equal to enhance capabilities and potential
of an individual. These skills will help me to face future challenges in best possible way.

CONCLUSION
With above reflection, it can be summarized that there is a requirement of effective
process of learning to improve in skills and knowledge of an individual. People need to identify
and work on their weak points to ensure future growth and success. Communication and
management skills are crucial to enhance to explore in professional career. An individual need to
monitor their strong as well as weak points through action plan to differentiate themselves from
others and make a strong position at work place.
