INTRODUCTION
Professional skill may be defined as those skills which help an individual to become
succeed in their job. These skills not only describes the habits but also shown the personality of
an individual within and outside the working environment of the company. It is very important
for an individual to develop the professional skill with in them because this play a very
significant role in achieving a successful position in life(Bravin, Carrasco and Kalichman, 2020).
The evaluation of professional skill and knowledge not only help in making a vision but also
help in achieving the set goals in a very effective manner. If an individual wants to achieve
successful position in his life then it is very important for them to evaluate the professional skill.
The following report is going to cover an analysis in which discussion has been done of the
different challenges from the business point of view and along with this reflections also been
cover on the skills which have been developed during the challenge.
TASK
Apprentice Challenge :-
This is an issue which help in developing communication skill within an individual in a
very efficient manner. With the help of this challenge effective ideas has been developed. When
I was studying in the London School of science and technology different types of challenges and
situations has been faced by me. Different types of skill and knowledge has been developed
within me when I was facing the apprentice challenge(Drew, 2018). With the help of these skill I
can effectively over come from this problem. Following are the skill which have been developed
during this challenge has been discussed below :-
 Communication skills :- as the communication skill is being considered as the need of
the modern day so it is very important for an individual / student to posses this skill
within them. Different types of efforts have been made by me in order to develop this
skill which not only help me in conveying my thoughts to my teams mates but also help
in easy conversation. When I was studying in the university a group project has been
assigned to me which I have to carry out with my team members. As with the help of this
skill I am able to communicate the relevant data to my team members in very clear and
specific manner. Due to which all the set objectives of the give task has been achieved.

 Time management skills :- in achieving a successful position in life a significant role
has been played by this skill(Leach and et. al., 2021). With the help of this skill I am
able to become well disciplined student during my studying time in the university. In
addition to this with the development of this skill within me, I am able to complete my
all assignment before the set time limit due to which I got appreciated in my class. This
skill make me a well organised person.
 Team Work :- team work skill also play a very important role in an individual life
within the workplace. As with the help of this skill all the set objectives of life can be
achieved in a very proper manner. Different types of skill and ideas has been posses by
each and every team members due to which the new knowledge and skill has been
developed. When I was studying in the university different types of assignment has been
given to me and team members. With the help of this skill I am able to effectively divide
the given task among my team members in very effective manner. During my initial time
in the university different types of problems has been faced by me related to this skill.
But, I evolve this skill within me by participating in group task and group activities.
 Business skill :- as business skill is the combination of various skill and capabilities and
the development of this skill within me it the most difficult task. Different types of
efforts and lot of time has been made and taken by me in order to develop this skill
within me. With the help of this skill I am able to effectively analyse the situation take
out the proper solution. In addition to this I also start taking proper decision which help
me to achieve my professional and personal goals(Lewgoy and Reidel, 2020). Along
with this problem solving skill has also been developed with in during the evaluation of
business skill.
Presentation Challenges :-
In the presentation challenge, the presenter of the report have to paid focus on the
language which is going to be use by them to present the report and make the audience feel
comfortable. By doing all these things presenter can effectively covey their thoughts and
messages to the audience. When I was working in the TESCO plc as sales man I have to give
presentation to the audience about the benefits and advantages of the product. During my job
time I have to give so many presentation due to which so many skills has been developed within
me which have been discussed below :-

 Communication skills :- when I was working in the TESCO plc huge efforts has been
made by me on developing the communication skill. The development of this skill help
me to covey about the different products of the company and the benefits related to
product to the consumer in a very effective manner. In addition to this I am able to
solve the problems or quarries of the consumer related to the product. So the
communication skill help me to overcome from this challenge.
 Team work :- team work is the key of success in the professional life. As when I was
working in the TESCO plc as a sales man different types of group task has been
assigned to me and my team members. By doing all the assigned task and by
coordinating with each other I am able to develop this skill within me. The
development of this skill within me help to face this challenge.
 Time management skill :- if an individual wants to become a professional in any field
the time management skill play a very important role. The task which have been
assigned to me during my professional time I have to complete them within the set time
limit. This skill support me allot and help me to face this challenge (Mathis and Boehm,
2018) .
 Business Skills :- the target and objectives which have been give to me when I was
working in TESCO help me to develop business skill within me. As these target has
been achieved by me with full productivity and within the set time limit. In addition to
this decision making and problem solving skill has also been developed within mw
which help me to overcome from this challenge.
T shirt Challenge :-
In this challenge a duty has been assigned to me in which I have to launch a T-shirt in
which the logo of the company has been shown. Different types of skills has been developed
within me while performing this challenge which have been discussed below :-
 Communication Skills :- a T-shirt task has been assigned to me in which I have to
launch a T-shirt. When I was performing this task communication skill has been
developed within me, due to which I am able to communicate in e very effective manner.

 Team work :- as this challenge is a team work task so this skill has been developed
within me while carrying out this task with my team members. With the help of this skill
I am able to collaborate with my team members(Tinnion, Simpson and Finlay, 2021).
 Time Management Skills :- the T-shirt task which have been assigned to me by the
management has to be complete within the given time limit. As the completion of all the
assigned task before the deadlines develops punctuality and discipline within me.
 Business Skills – while performing the task I have to convince the consumer to purchase
this T-shirt. For which I have to interact with them. So by doing these things I am able to
develop these skill within me.
An action plan on how you will develop these skills
The development of communication skill with the help of SMART analysis has been discussed
below :-
 Specific :-the specific aim behind developing the communication skill within me is to
become effective presentator. This boost my career.
 Measurable :- the development of this skill within me has been measured by achieving
all the set objectives of the company with full productivity before the deadlines.
 Achievable :- by perusing the diploma course this set of skill has been effectively
achieved by me.
 Relevant :- the certificate which I got after completing my diploma course make sure
the authenticity as well as full reliability.
 Time frame :- a time period of around 7 months needed by me to develop this skill.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it has been concluded that the development of professional skill
within an individual play a very important role in professional life. In this report three challenges
has been concluded like T-shirt challenge, presentation challenge and Apprentice Challenge
which help me to developed communication, team work, business and time management skill.
With the help of this skill different business functions like branding , production and finance can
be carry out in a very effective manner. This report also concluded the SMART analyses to
develop the communication skill to make the future better.
