INTRODUCTION
Information and communication technology is referred as a framework which is used to
handle various processes of communication such as broadcast media, intelligent building
systems, telecommunications etc. which are complex to manage properly. It uses different tools
and techniques in order to create, share and exchange the crucial information in order to enhance
the quality of work. The ICT has become crucial for the digital organizations amid the pandemic
as most companies had to adopt remote working options for carrying out business practices.
The current report will explain two collaboration tools have helped various businesses to
survive in the pandemic, suitability, advantages, disadvantages and applications of Cloud
storage and cloud computing in improving digitalization, challenges of privacy and security with
possible measures to be undertaken and limitations and benefits of these networks.

Collaboration tools and their importance for organizations to survive in the pandemic
In the pandemic the collaboration had a significant impact on how they work, that
affected the software companies. During pandemic the software companies not stopped their
work, the information technology workers began working from home. There are two
collaboration tools which helped companies to survive in current pandemic which are mentioned
below:
Sketch board:-
Sketch board is a virtual white board. With the help of the sketch board team members
can put their ideas and with the help of diagrams they can easily describe their points. Sketch
board is a viable solution which helps in collaboration in virtual way, this looks likes the team
members are sitting in their conference room (Donthu and Gustafsson, 2020). These type of tool
gives the clients to be more clear about their questions, it also has a many sketch shapes and
connectors. It has a simple way to use, just to dragging and dropping on the board with the help
of mouse or digital pen.
By this the participants can also interact with each other during the session with the help
in-system chat box. There are many advantages of sketch boards are, participants can see the
whole board at once then, they just have to double-click somewhere to use the particular page.
They can also save their conversations or any projects.

During the pandemic sketch board has seen increased use from software companies,
education and in online training. This also supports the text formatting to markdown to
connection labels, that connection labels can bend from the bottom line to the upper line. Sketch

calendar feature which integrates various collaboration. During the pandemic with the help of
Zimbra between clients and company had a connectivity, through which they could connect with
each other to know the actual idea or about any kind of data (La Torre and et.al., 2021.). This
also have a feature of group messaging as well as video conferencing in the application. Clients
having access of collaboration features like chats and sharing documents anywhere. Sharing the
documents is very important to reach out the customer and Zimbra helps in that to share with
security.
Zimbra have two factor authentication features. It has email encryption to ensure the
security of the sensitive data. In recent times this online application significantly gained the
importance and reduced the physical contact between the participants and between the clients.
Employees understand the needs and desire of the client with this web (Faruq, Khaeruddin and
Lestandy, 2020). Zimbra web client users can create and collaborate using documents and
presentation inside the Zimbra.
In some organizations they have internal policies on how the employees can handle the

disconnected with the world which may have serious repercussions on their personal rights to
gain the required information about the global happening and activities. The personal internet
may create several issues for the government and citizens of Russia in order to maintain their
relationships with their global businesses.

According to the above report it has been concluded that different tools and techniques
are beneficial for the businesses to survive in the Covid-19 pandemic and increase their growth
opportunities. The cloud storage and cloud computing have been beneficial for te businesses to
manage their data and conduct the business practices despite the negative impact of the
pandemic. It has been convenient for the organizations to improve their stability in the industry
and gain a significant market share in the difficult times of the pandemic. There have been
several challenges and issues that has a negative impact on security of the business. These
aspects are managed by appropriately monitoring the sensitive data and using updated software
for work. The local network that has been found to be inappropriate for Russia as it can have
serious repercussions in their supply chain management and disconnect them with the global
stakeholders.
