An ethical dilemma can be assumed as the conflict that arises between two or more
values or the interests driven by virtue. In such kind of scenarios, one has to make sure that they
need some tools which provide them assistance in making the sound ethical decisions. So, in this
case, I am being the trainee database administrator I have all the knowledge regarding the
academic performance of the student and her mark sheets as proofs so I would take a step in
pointing out my concerns to my supervisor (Holtgrewe, 2014). This is because as an individual
student, I will be having right not to get deceived intentionally (Arnold & Boggs, 2015). Ethics
are based on recognizing certain rights of a human. I will be having the rights of not being forced
into going against my conscience (Jones et al., 2014). Every individual will have the right about
expecting the opposite person to live up to the level of their commitments and eventually behave
as per the law and the guidelines for the eligibility of the scholarship. So in the workplace as an
employee I would be expecting the management to behave in an ethical way according to the
policy of the organization (Llorens, Berbegal-Mirabent & Llinàs-Audet, 2017).
From the ACS document for the current scenario of ethical dilemma that is considered to
be the reasons for my actions are professional development and professionalism. It is always
better to be yourself informed will all the new practices, standards and the technologies that are
relevant to the work environment. Then such kind of unethical behavior and the situations can be
handled without any worries (Ritzhaupt et al., 2013). Definitely, when a fault is pointed out they
would be expecting me to provide with the special skills and also the advice and for doing so it is
good to be updated with the knowledge. Also, encouragement should be provided to staff and
even colleagues so that they also do the same (Roztocki & Weistroffer, 2015). We need to take
action in such a way so that it makes sure you’re hard-won knowledge and the experience. It will
also give the opportunity for the individuals in improving their own effectiveness in their current
work along with becoming keen in taking up the additional responsibilities of not allowing such
kind of faults to occur again (Tong, Tak & Wong, 2015).
As a result, in such circumstances of effectively managing the situation and before taking
it to the supervisor it is advised to collect the facts and resolve the issue with all the clear details
of the current situation (Wallis, 2015). The need for ethical deliberation has to be understood so
that it improves the confidence in the ICT industry (Button, Harrington & Belan, 2014). It clearly

indicates that members of the society are still maintaining the professional standards which will
be improved and also enhancing the image of the organization, particularly in the workplace
(Vaishnavi & Kuechler, 2015).

Part-A
1. Describe an example where you used interpersonal skills along with listening and
verbal communication skills effectively
Interpersonal skills can be defined as the qualities which will be bringing out the best of the
people you are working with the firm. When you are working in group, these skills are
considered to be highly important. So here is the instance which describes the interpersonal skills
that are used by me along with listening and verbal communication effectively. During the
interview as a customer representative I was able to present the scenario of dealing with the
customer queries with excellent verbal communication by exhibiting the listening skills which
are aimed at having an understanding of the concerns of the customer completely. My
interpersonal skills were shown in the situation of handling an impatient customer calmly and
patiently.
2. How did you use reading skills to effectively develop an academic document?
Provide an example
Whether, it can be the trade journals, business book, ebooks, or project documents most of us
as a part of our job will be reading regularly for developing our knowledge and skills. By doing
so, we develop our own skills in reading and can use it effectively in developing an academic
document. As it goes on the process will be becoming much more challenging where we get
introduced to the new vocabulary and complex structure of the sentence which will be useful in
framing a professional document.
3. Provide an example of using your teamwork skills during your presentation.
During the annual work, presentation of our human resource team in the firm I took the lead
of explaining the budget plan for the current academic year as a part of the team. I have made a

list of the particular ways in which the previous and the present positions have given me an
experience of working as the team member. For creating the seamless workflow in our
presentation I have used the teamwork skills such as motivating the employees, inspiring them
and support them effectively.
4. Provide an example of an assessment where you discussed the importance of ethical
behaviors, and social, privacy and legal aspects within the ICT domain
Within the ICT domain, our firm has developed a new software computer technology for
manipulating, storing, gathering, and communicating the data. So, one of our collaborators has
asked for some personalized information without the knowledge of the management. But here I
have thought that ethical behaviors will play an important role so as per the legal, social and
privacy aspects the information that could be spread and revolutionized has been shared with
them. I found these aspects are important because it might lead to the ethical dilemma and ruin
the reputation of the company.
5. Discuss how you learnt the skills to work with staff and/or students from different
cultures and demonstrate the knowledge of cultural diversity
Relationships with any are considered to be very powerful. The foundation for a change would
be our one to one connections with each other. Cultural diversity will be developed by building
the relationships with individuals from various cultures often from numerous different cultures
would be the key to building up the diversified communities. These are highly powerful enough
in achieving the important goals. The workplace is the best place where I have learned
interacting and working with people from different cultures.
6. Describe how you learnt to evaluate ICT technologies to improve organizational
processes
Clear ICT technologies will be developed by organizations which will be helpful in improving
their processes. Here I would evaluate these technologies based on the following criteria for
enhancing the processes. By having communication with customers, other related partners, and
each other’s, by preparing and communicating the files and documents and by conducting a wide
range of online transaction the processes can be improved.

For improving the delivery of services to customers in government organization the ICT
technologies such as creating eCommerce site facilities or introducing online services would be
the most convenient and effective method.
7. Describe two examples of communication and collaboration technologies
The two trends that are related to communication and collaboration technologies are developing
new beginnings of human and computer interface. The first is the evolution of theories of
interpersonal collaboration and communication such as multiple providers are interconnected in
health care systems. The second is in support of communication and collaboration, increased use
of computer systems is seen. For instance, for researchers who are dispersed can share the
articles, results, and references.
Part-B
The two things that I liked about this ICT is that it has provided me with enough knowledge and
better understandings towards the ethical behavior, legal, social, and privacy aspects. The other
thing is that it has exemplified the usage of all these criteria and gave a good insight of
workplace cultural diversity and teamwork. The emerging technologies have given the strategies
of communication and collaboration technologies for improving the organizational processes.
Writing on the improvement of school and effectiveness of school has inclined in concentrating
more on the aspects of assessing and increasing the standards of the school. ICT is found to be
one of the feature in improving the school and performance of the student (Wallis, 2015). Also,
the business efficiency can be improved by developing effective communication solutions.
