INTRODUCTION
The concept of professional skills in information communication technology portfolio is
describes the role of professional skills so that a person can use appropriate source of information
technologies in portfolio (Balaban, Mu and Divjak, 2013). In this report, critical thinking is defined by
using peer-reviewed and APA referencing style and also explain the example about the importance of
ICT professionals. In this report, Swot analysis are also done and by reflective writing, it demonstrate in
such a way that we learned in this writing. In this way the concept of information and communication
techniques and modern media culture are make the effective relationship between the young people and
ICT professionals. In the modern world new techniques and there uses are very important and it make
great advantage to the people. In this way those people who uses the social media is an important way of
communication with the help of techniques.
1. WEEK 3: CRITICAL THINKING
The concept of critical thinking is defined as the analytical tools which main objectives and goals
is to evaluate the situation and as per such situation, it is evaluate the right conclusion as per the
objectives. In this way, critical thinking determine that the subjects which explain the whole analysis of
the topic. As per Dahlstrom, Walker and Dziuban, (2013) Critical information or critical thinking
describes that what is right and what is wrong in the topics which are chosen for critically evaluation. It
helps to make final and appropriate judgement of the related topic. According to Jones, Simmons,
Packham, Beynon-Davies and Pickernell, (2014) critical thinking includes four important elements
which are: Application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation. In this way, ICT professional plays an
important role, so that they can make effective communication with there clients through the world. So
that ICT professionals have to be critical thinkers so that they can use all the social media networking
sites for making communication with there clients and get positive or negative feedback from there
clients. In this way, there are many tools of ICT such as Facebook, google, twitter etc. which helps the
professional to make an effective critical thinking.
Liyanagunawardena, Adams and Williams, (2013) gives there view that most of social sites are
misused for making communication with there clients. So that ICT professionals has to focus on such
issues and make there contribution so that it make positive impact on human behaviours and global
world. ICT professional also plays main role in communication such as; ICT professionals help to
increases the use of market information and transaction cost for poor people and framers and they also
achieve global primary education and also promote equality in gender and encourages the power of
women in society. ICT professional also ensure the health services to the people.

In the modern areas, information techniques plays an important role for making communication
with other people effectively. Young people use the social media sites such as Facebook etc., so that they
can connect with there friends, relatives easily. In this way, ICT professional is considered as a critical
thinkers because they deals with such different types of issues like negative and positive. The main role
that ICT professional is that they maintain all the ideas and facts for making there communication skills
for effectively and efficiently (Maher, Sanber, Cameron and Vallance, 2013).
2. WEEK 5: SWOT ANALYSIS OF ANALYTICAL WRITING SKILLS

Strength:- In analytical Writing skills, presenter body languages and way of speaking do matter.
The person common over their own words or own language they are making analytical Writing skills
before audiences. One of the important strength of professionals is content of writing and words are
relevant while making.
Weakness:- The major weakness of Writer is the lack of topic knowledge and confidence that
make during the presentation on the topic. Confidence levels and hand writing of the person is the most
important factor that needs the making writing skills and content of writing with audience.
Threats:-Skills and talents of presentation vary person to person. There are many professionals
whose way of writing skills knowledge and content relevant to the topic and they have well experiences
and knowledge about the writing and how to present in the PPT form. In other words the lack of
language and grammars skills are also the major weakness of the writing (Pang, Chen, Han and Zheng,
2015).
Opportunity:- One of the good opportunities that each and every person learn from the past

Effective Grammatical and topic knowledge:- Grammatical skills is key point of growth and
success of presentation and relationship. Good writing person is always maintained their relationship or
contact with people for the long period. As the professional writers, they have one's ability to interact
with the others in very friendly ways and attract easily.
Maintaining good relationship with others:-Writing is the power of building good relationship
with people around the worlds. Writing and Communication is the key point of the of managing better
relationship. They are trained for a making presentation with the help of writing on the topic and how to
explain the topic with the clients in the best effective ways is most important factor of presentation of
writing.
3. WEEK 7- PORTFOLIO: REFLECTIVE WRITING
In modern world, use of analytical skills helps to make effective communication to the people
and also help to express the thought of the writer to others. As per the research 75% people believes that
analytical writing skills is best source of sharing the information to others. By using technological things
such as Facebook, Twitter and many more social networking sites can be used for writing analytically. In
this way, some people believes that analytical writing skills is essential for making effective
communication, but on the other hand, some people believes that by suing the analytical skills it
consume lots of time and many people are not in condition to understand such writing skills.
Apart from that some writing users believes that it provides better securities and it is most
effective way to deliver the information and connected with others effectively. In analytical writing
skills, it includes various types of writing methods such presentation, emails etc. which help the users to
understand the information more effectively. But some people gives there views that it is hard to some
person to understand the technical writing information and they faces many problems to deliver there
messages to others (Schwalbe, 2015).
It is noted that some writers only use such writing skills for making fun and enjoyment, on the other
hand some people take such seriously so that they can deliver there messages and information with use

emails etc. so that they can share there information effectively and ICT professionals also adopt the new
strategies so that they can engaged the people in a large scale by using information techniques in
analytical writing skills.
4. WEEK 11: RESPONDING TO AN ETHICAL SCENARIO
As per the situation mentioned, working as a ICT role I collect all the information including
personal and health information of a client. In this way, I try to give the information of my friend's
husband situation to the senior and try to resolve the home loan issues, because they can not pay such
kind of home loan. ICT professional maintains various code of conduct in there work and followed
various ethics so that they can accomplishing there goals and objectives of an organisation. ICT
professionals also make effective relationship with other individuals. There are various types of code of
conducts which are used in this situation, which are as follows:
ACS Code of Ethics- The ACS code of conduct is a part of ACS constitution, in which ACS
members should have upload and advance the honour, dignity and effectiveness of being a professionals.
The main code of ethics is the primacy of the public interest.
Primacy of the public interest- Some people use analytical writing skills for there fun. So that
ICT professional maintain the needs and interest of public. As per the case, lady's husband want to
resolver there home loan issue, in this way ICT professional should collect the information and take
corrective action to resolve such problem.
Development of quality life- It is a duty of ICT professionals to develop and give quality of life
to there clients, in this way as per the situation, ICT professional should adopt such strategies so that
they can understand the situations of lady and her husband who were suffering from terminal illness. In
this way ICT professionals try to develop an ideas to give quality of life to them.
Honest and fairness- In this, ICT professional should maintain the fairness and honesty in there
professional skills, knowledge and services/ products. In this way, professional always make fair
documentation of there client so that they can easily estimate there client's position.
Competence- ICT professional also maintain and completely dedicated to there work by using
there best skills and knowledge for there clients.
Development of professions- As a ICT professional, they have lots of opportunities so that they
can use there analytical writing skills, so that they can deliver there information to others (Stahl, Eden
and Jirotka, 2013). In this way analytical writing skill increases their own professional development. In

this situation, ICT professional maintain there professions by giving help to the lady and as a friend they
give moral support to her.
As per the above ACS code of ethics are maintain by ICT professional during there analytical
writing skills, so that right means are deliver to the right person in a workplace.
5. WEEK 12: SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION
Interpersonal skills is such type of skills which a person can use to deliver or sending there
information to others. In this report, analytical writing skills are used and presentation skills also used
along with listening and verbal communication skill effectively. In this way to develop academic
document reading skills plays an important role, because a person who have reading skills will receive
high level of knowledge related to there work. For example: If a person is getting to write an essay of
globalisation, than if a person have reading skills, than he/she collect all the information and facts by
reading different articles, books etc. So in this way, reading skills is important for developing an
academic document.
As per the detailed information, it also describe the team work skills. In this way, team work skill
also important to take all the team member together to achieve there task. In this way teamwork skills
include proper leadership qualities, mentoring, estimating the task, evaluating the team members goals
and assigning the task to each team members. As per the situation given, team work skills are used to
allot the task among the team members so that work can divide properly so that each task can be
completed as per the time.
In the report there are also two assessment such as using analytical writing skills and collecting
the information of client appropriately which need a proper understanding by the ICT professional. It is a
main role of ICT professional to maintain the ethical behaviours, social privacy and legal security to
there client, so that there are proper work is to be adjusted. ICT professional help there customers to
provide safety due to the unethical work or misconduct in there work field. So that it was the duty of ICT
professional to provide legal safety to there client and also provide ethical understanding to them so that
all the information are communicate easily by using analytical writing skills.
In this, I like two things such a s presentation by using analytical writing skills and how
communication skills be maintained to work with the staff/ student from different culture. Here culture
diversity means that there are different kinds of people how have different culture in there workplace. So
that as per there culture, the needs and working style are different from people to people. In this way, by
using analytical writing skills help the ICT professional to present there idea and information by use of
techniques so that it can be easily understandable by the staff members. It also explain the teamwork
skills, so that each task are allotted to there team members effectively, so that them will perform well in

workplace/ colleges or schools etc.
By evaluating the ICT techniques to improving the organisation process, ICT professional plays
various role. To ensuring the organisation process they follow many technological strategies such a
social media sites, presentation skills etc. so that they will make proper communication with them. By
using analytical writing skills and presentation skills effective information will be deliver to the person
so that they can understand the things and perform well. For example: If in an organisation, manager use
feedback policy so that they can understand the staff mentality and there problem, as per such feedback
they take corrective action for improving such problems. All this process help the organisation to
perform well by using of techniques.
As per the unit, I learn two communication and collaboration techniques by adopting the
presentation skills and teamwork skills. All those skills are beneficial to the unit because by making
proper communication and presentation, staff can understand easily and also communicate there
opinion,. all this make positive impact of the growth of portfolio. So that those two skills are beneficial
for the unit.
CONCLUSION
From the above discussion, it is cleared that information and communication techniques make a
great impact to interacting with others. In different fields it make different impact. In the field of
organisation, information communication skills and techniques help to make effective communication
with there employees, so that they can perform well. In teaching department, communication skills is
important so that students can understand hat the teacher want to teach to them. In this way, information
and communication technologies are important to share the relevant and reliable ideas to others by use of
many techniques such social networking sites, emails, questionnaires etc. In this way communication
through social median and by mailing the emails plays an important role in portfolio and also help the
people to understand new techniques (Ager, 2013).
