The use of interpersonal skills is perceived as significant and mandatory requirements
for successful completion of a project. The instances when I was able to depict interpersonal
skills during the course of the project would facilitate an impression of the approach to
completion of the project. Listening to the insights provided by educators enabled me to
focus on the alternative approaches for completion of task other than those learned from
literature or previous practice (Bedwell, Fiore & Salas, 2014).
The verbal communication with team members enabled the flexible transaction of
ideas pertaining to the task which was also a flexible contributor to the acquisition of
opportunities for innovative ideas required for completion of the project.
The effective use of reading skills to develop an academic document was possible
through the capabilities for comprehending the wider context of the research publications,
literature sources and secondary information (Koprowska, 2014). The performance in reading
skills is liable for transforming the vast plethora of information into summarized bits thereby
helping in communicating the subject of professional skills in ICT industry effectively.
The implementation of teamwork skills was also considered as a major contribution to
the completion of the project. One of the profound instances of implementing teamwork skills
during the presentation was engaging in verbal communication with the team members for
decision on the allocation of tasks and responsibilities for the project. I was readily able to
depict the skills of listening to involve the team members in the task thereby obtaining
feasible outcomes (Koprowska, 2014).
The other potential teamwork skills that played a significant part in successful
completion of the project involved respecting, participating and persuasion that assisted
comprehensively in the concerned scenario of allocating responsibilities to the team
members.
From a critical perspective, the successful completion of the project is prominently
reflective of the presentation skills as well as the impact of interpersonal skills in
accomplishing project success (Koprowska, 2014). The applications of effective
communication in attracting people could not be undermined and as potential ICT personnel
it is necessary to apprehend the significance of developing communication skills for general
conversations as well as in presentations. Suggestions for effective improvement of ICT

framework on the grounds of ethical, social, legal and privacy aspects could be observed
from the assessment on their significance.
The example could be observed in the discussion on security issues that are
profoundly observed in the social media sites such as Facebook. The assessment enables the
interpretation of probable implications of ethical violations, social behaviour, privacy
concerns and legal aspects of social media usage. Working with a diverse workforce is also
accounted as a notable precedent in the code of ethics noticed in the ICT industry. I was able
to work with students from varying cultural backgrounds with specific precedents for
communication which enabled me to further my knowledge of cultural diversity and its
impact on completion of projects (Koprowska, 2014).
The application of ICT systems for improving the sophistication of organizational
processes could be observed in the form of applying social media as a potential source for
internal communication in context of an organization. The two examples of technologies used
for communication refer to the application of teleconferencing and Groupware. These
technologies are considered as distinct contributors to the improvement of ICT sophistication
and can be accounted as the appropriate substrate for development of novel professional
skills in the ICT industry.
