Group Project Reflection: Enhancing Professional Skills and Teamwork

I had completed my group project. In these project their were 5 members, and I was the team
leader for these project. Firstly we had analysed the project in detail manner after the first stage
we had identified all the needed resources to complete this project, after identifying and
arranging the resource I had distributed the work to different team members according to their
skills. In this project we had learned that effective teamwork helps to finish the work more
effectively and efficiently. Furthermore, this project helped me to identify my weakness and
overcome them as well as we had learned many new things. The things I have learned in this
project are -
How to create CV professionally: In this I have learned that the professional CV depends on
the candidate as well as the company. If the firm give priority to my past work experience then I
need to highlight my work experience by underlining that point or writing in bold font as well as
the Curriculum Vitae should not be extended more than 2-3 page. Furthermore, I had also
learned that using much information and font types and colour can have and negative impact on
my CV. These activities helped me lot in learning new facts about creating more effective CV
professional.
How to make an interview with confidence (my weakness): Before this project I was lacking
in terms of confidence and couldn't handle the performance pressure. I and my group organized
many demo interview season, after giving the different types of mock interview so many times.
This helped me lot in increase in increasing my level of confidence. Practising these Mock
interviews from both the side (interviewer and the interviewee) help me to understand aspect that
create pressure on me. After doing this activity so many times I was able to overcome my
performance anxiety(Stage fright). This activity not only helped me in overcoming my weakness
in giving and interview with confidence, it also taught me many facts and tricks to successfully
pass the interview
How to demonstrate effective communication skills making group presentation(my
weakness): In the starting stage of the project I used to communicate with the teams members in
one way communication. This had created lot of problems in the team to work on the project,
after facing so many problems I decided to listen to other team member, which helped be to
understand their individual problems in their assigned part of the project. Then we discussed
those problems as a team and found their solution in easier way. This taught me that a team

leader should always listen to the ideas, views and problems of his fellow team members. This
has opened a new aspect of communicating in more effective way in case of group presentation.
What is the reflective statement (New and useful information): Reflective statement is
statement which is written by the writer of report, article and many more. In this activity I had
learned about how to write reflective statement. The reflective statement is written in the first
person. I get to know that in this statement writer of the report writers about what he has learned
form the project, what problems raised while working on the project as well as how the writer or
the researcher has overcome those issues, I have learned that this statement is all about the what
the reporter has felt about his strength, weakness in completing the project.
How is the information is useful and how to improve all this information in the future: I
personally learned that the information collected during the project is not easily to collect they
consume lot of time as well as resource. The information I had collected was most primary data
and which consume lot of my time and manpower. This information can be use my other which
can decrease their time, money and increase their productivity. These project also taught me that
this information is important for the possible future because it can help me to complete my
project in more productive as well as effective way.
While working on this project I have learned so many things as well as It also helped me to
overcome many of many weaknesses like performance anxiety (Stage fright), lack of confidence.
Furthermore, these also opened new aspect of communicate in more effectively manner. This
project also taught me that how I can useful the information is for the future and how can I work
more productively on any other project.
