INTRODUCTION
Social work is a sector concerned about an individual’s growth and development in the
society. The major aim behind social work is that the abilities, strength, skills of an individual
have been used to resolve the issues and problems of the society. As a social worker, my current
belief is to provide the services to the people with full concern and dignity. Along with this,
trying to understand the issues of people and solve it without getting harm to anyone has been
also require to be done. I will also try to work with more concentration and focus that allows me
to grab the attention of all the people. Due to this, it gets easier for me to get connect with the
peoples (Buse, C., Martin, D., and Nettleton, S. (2018)). The values of social work for me is to
serve the society with the effective solutions for the different issues generated on a random basis.
I also try to work with same zeal and provides justice to all the people. It is also important for me
to make the best relationship with the humans and always work with clear focus and objectives
and never lose the hope as whatever the conditions are, always be more confident about my
work. The ethical prospective that I will bring in my social work is to never hurt the sentiments
of the peoples and takes myself as their position and then try to feel their situations (Wang,
2019).
My future professional development as a social worker is to provides a right path to the
peoples with that provides the best plan and pathway to resolve and overcome through the
problems (Davies, B., and Challis, D. (2018)). Also make an effort with that I will keep induce
change in myself with proper learning from the society. As a professional development I will
always try to accept the different role that I have to play for a betterment of the society. I will
also accept all the ongoing change and enhance my skills, knowledge by getting experience with
that improvise the standard of understanding the change (Hu, 2018).
Current belief system
I will keep challenged myself with the diversified activities occurred in the society on a
daily basis. The basic activity that need to be performed by me is learning as I will completely
involve myself for the society betterment which makes easier for me to attempt different
operations for the development of the society. Learning is a continuous and never ending process
as every time different situations has been generated and every problem will be sort out by

applying different techniques thus I will always keep learn different aspects from the different
situations (Yuen & Burney (2018).
I believed that everyone is suffering with different problems present in the society as like
disability, mental illness, homelessness, prisoned from different background, race or ethnicity
(Harris and White, (2018). As everyone is trying to possess the courage and strength that helps
them to overcome with the different situations. Thus I believe to use strength-based approach to
find the solutions of different issues faced by a lot of peoples. Whereas, critics opposed this
concept due to having their perception that this approach didn't focus on the protection of the
peoples from different complex situations which may reduce the focus and importance of
reducing the risk. On the other hand, it brings lot of benefits to the clients and comes with good
result.
Whatever the theory or model, the social worker applies but they must take some strong
responsibilities to engage the critical and informed reflection of issues that is faced by the
peoples. As there are different issues faced by the people related to different factors which
includes personal as well as climatic changes like droughts, tsunami, earthquake. Thus it is a
moral duty of all to save the environment and controls the different factors by provide adequate
help. Thus I will move forward and work with the belief that society need someone who solve
the different issues and I will be the one who solved with the simplicity and linearity. Thus with
that I will use strength-based approach and trying to resolve the different issues without affecting
the right of freedom of all (Hayes, L. (2019).
Values and ethics perspectives I bring to the social care
I value the belief, culture, religion, caste, sex, gender, race, background of the people and
would not impose my beliefs on them. That brings the equilibrium condition as I will never
differentiate the society on the basis of different factors. This would be beneficial for me as to
work of social care because I can look at the different situations of every culture and
acknowledge different forms of operations. With that interact with the peoples in an unequal
society that provides easy behaviour to sort out the different conditions and situations.
I value the independence and the right to freedom to choose and work for the life one
wants. These values can be seen under the human right and social injustice in social work and
these two activities have the significance in the social professionals (Payne, (2018). As everyone

is free to say whatever they want and also try to find out the solution without getting hit or affect
their freedom.
I would value the kindness and doesn't differentiate while interacting with the janitor or
CEO. I have a strong believe that everyone has unique and positive characteristics that they have
and bring to the society. For that I value the person centre approach to measure and analyse the
best work of all for the particular individual.
There are basically four theoretical approaches currently being used by social and
community workers i.e. ecological system, community development, strength-based approaches
and attachment theories. Among all these, I will choose strength-based approach as everyone has
different behaviour towards different situation and have complete freedom to do what they want
(Walshe and Turner (2018)). And I would try to provide the solutions as per the requirement and
measures the effective response.
Provide my thoughts and ideas about my future professional development
For the betterment and development of the society, it is very much important for teaching
staff to construct the group learning experiences in order to develop the interest of all towards the
social care that develops the society. Thus I will be able to speak to anyone and everyone from
all walks of life without being afraid that would more influenced my learning capabilities and
skills (Wilson, J. (2018)).
The future professional development of mine is to provide the best and satisfactory care
to the society without getting hurt the sentiments of the people and try to make the safest and
secure atmosphere for all the people that might affected by the different factors as mental level
pressure, disability or anything else.
CONCLUSION
It has been concluded from the above report that social care is an individual approach to
enhance the growth and development of the society. With this social care includes the evolution
of the society from the different factors that has been faced by the different people of society as
like disability, health issues, mental illness, prisoned from background, ethnicity etc. For that I
would use strength-based approach as different people has unique and positive approach to
manage the different conditions of the society. With that I have an clear goals and objective for

the future professional development and with that I would try to enhance the environment by
solving different issues.
