Theme 1
"If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier
world." ~ J. R. R. Tolkien
The first theme developed from the vision board is gourmet food. Gourmet food is
something that interests the connoisseurs of food. It tastes better than any type food that is
cooked. Home cooking is not gourmet (MacKendrick, 2014). Gourmet is classic and only a
handful of people can cook proper gourmet food. Gourmet food has the best quality of food and
tastes better than any other any other type of food. These are made with some unique and some
regular ingredients and the fusion of different cuisines and different types of food in one plate
(Cheon & Hong, 2017). Gourmet is not only food; chefs who prepare them consider food to be
an art (Caldwell, 2014). They constantly keep on experimenting with the food and it tastes. Many
international chefs are famous for creating gourmet dishes.
Theme 2
A garden requires patient labor and attention. Plants do not grow merely to satisfy
ambitions or to fulfill good intentions. They thrive because someone expended effort on them.
Liberty Hyde Bailey
The second theme for the vision board is gardening. It is the practice which portraits
patience and tolerance in a person. It contributes life to art, as most of cultivation and designing
are done on plants and trees. It have been considered to be a relaxing event which helps in

Main Goal of be achieved
I have been working for quite some time now and all I have wanted to do since I joined
my work is to not remain confined in one space and travel and eat various cuisines of the world
(NS Robinson & Getz, 2014). Experiencing different cuisines has been a dream for quite some
time now but I have not been able to do that because of the restraint in time and money but now
after doing this task I have realized that I should be more focused on the things that are priority
in my such as keeping my mental health stable and do what I feel passionate about (Corrigan et
al., 2014). Tra velling and trying gourmet food all around the world is one such thing (Getz et
al., 2014). The basic goal of the activity would be helping in achieving a thorough perspective of
the activity in practical life. It would help in gathering a basic concept on various gourmet food
around the globe. The best of eating good food is about experiencing something new every time.
The mouth explodes with tastes and that is when I feel most overwhelmed. After completing this
activity my urge to experience new food and new culture and new scenarios are of prime
importance in my life and I would want to experience these as soon as possible before I run out
of time. The only thing that I wanted to for the longest time is travel and tastes all the different
kind of cuisines all across the world, however I could not do that because of the kind of pressure
that I have in life I did not have the time to explore my choices, now after having done this
assignment, I have realized that I should pursue my dream as soon as I can.
Comment on the activity
The activity was quite insightful; I learnt a thing or two about myself. The determination
that I had to try different cuisines increased with this activity. I learnt something new about

myself and the things that I want to pursue in the near future. There are many things that I liked
but nothing matters more to me than trying out gourmet food all across the world (Richards,
2015). I was surprised to see that the determination that I had for so long increased after doing
this activity. There are many things that are important but the most important are the thing that
makes me happy and trying different cuisines is one of them. I as a working professional have
realized that the things that I want to do the most in life is to travel and try the gourmet cuisines
of the world. There were hindrances because of which I did not have the time to pursue my
dreams but after doing this activity I have realized that I should start my life the I wanted to for a
long period of time. This activity was interesting because I felt that I discovered something new
about my life and the priorities in my life, hence this activity was extremely insightful and I got
to learn a many things about my life, gourmet food and travel and the culinary genius involved in
making gourmet cuisines. The activity have been helpful in understanding the various prospects
of food and various other aspects of various other culture.
