Corporate organisations formulate mentorship programmes to meet the growing demands of skills,
core competence and capability among the employees which generates competitive advantage
(Ramalho 2014). As a publication company catering to the needs of the educational arena, we,
Markwell Co. Pvt. Ltd is always in quest of employee upliftment and capacity building through a
plethora of different kinds of mentorship programmes. Recently, we have implemented interpersonal
problem solving programme that provides an informal training of problem-solving arenas to ventilate
the grievances and doubts of the employees in an effective way for productive and smooth flow of
work.
WHY ARE WE LOOKING FOR MENTORS?
Markwell Co. Pvt. Ltd encourages enthusiastic volunteers who would readily enrol themselves in the
mentorship programme as mentors, ready to take up the responsibilities of the programme. We are
encouraging the employees to voluntarily mentor the programme as they would be provided with a
platform of interpersonal communication, exchange of knowledge between each other, exposure and
enhancement of leadership qualities among them. By becoming an amateur mentor the employees
would be able to realise their abilities despite of any age gap and sharpen their competencies in the
required field.
WHAT ARE WE PROVIDING IN THE PROGRAMME?
As it is obvious that a majority of our employees have been in enclosure to the retiring age, it is a
matter of concern that the freshers and new employees be given adequate training to cope with the
flaws of the organisation through problem-solving techniques. Markwell Co. Pvt. Ltd would like to
appoint the retiring employees to give the freshers an updated informal problem-solving techniques
such as scrutinising, monitoring and evaluation. The programmes shall be conducted twice a week
