1PROFESSIONALISM
The term professionalism indicates the combination of the qualities which are
required in the case of improving the skills (Biesta, 2015). Therefore, this can be said that
professionalism can be considered as the quality of a person, which helps to develop the
competency skills that are required in the case of internal and external development. It has
been mentioned in this study that by using the excellent skills and ideas a person gains the
ability to get promotion in the different phrase in the career graph. As stated by García-
Morales, Bolívar-Ramos and Martín-Rojas, (2014), the professionalism helps to conduct the
qualities, aims and characteristics of a professional person. This is a long-term process, and it
encompasses a large number of different attributes. These attributes are being defined and
identified by the professionalism practices.
In this study, the Skills Framework for the information age has been discussed.
This model is being developed in the case of analysing the competitive needs of the ICT
professionals. If the current business scenario is being analysed, it will be identified that the
people have become too much dependent on technology. It has been mentioned in this study
that the ICT skills are being required to be adopted in an organization in order to match with
the workforce. SFIA model is considered as the effective model in which the rate of business
profitability gets influenced. This is also very important in the case of standardized the ICT
skill levels. Therefore this can be said that it is both the generic and specific skill which
should be adopted by the people for bringing both the personal and professional development.
With the introduction of modern technologies in the industry, it has become very important to
gain the skills of technology in order to compete with the global scale (Mainetti et al., 2015).
Therefore this can be said that the technical skills have become very important or increasing
the efficiency of people. In the vase of generic skill, the technology also has the higher level
of impact on human life. Technological skill is required in every phrase in human life. From
education to marketing, in the current situation, people are dependent on the technology. On

the other hand, it has a great career opportunity too. If the global employment rate is being
analysed, it will be identified that near about all the organizations have introduced different
technical unit in the organizational structure. This unit works to manage all the process
improvement related activities. According to García-Morales, Bolívar-Ramos & Martín-
Rojas (2014), Cost reduction, quality assurance and competitive intelligence practices are
being done by ICT professionals. Therefore this can be said that technology can be one of the
profitable professional practices in the current situation. This is also very effective in the case
of boosting the confidence, which helps the person to perform actively. In the case analysing
the SFIA skills, this can be said that with the help of technological skills, the person will be
able to increase performance quality as well as the professional skills. Technological skills
not only helps the person to gain knowledge for the particular time but also using this skill,
the person will be able to develop the professional graph for the long term.
In this study that ICT skill, which has been indicated is the skill for presenting
information. Using this skill, I have got the chance to develop my project more efficiently.
Using the Microsoft office and powerpoint, I have done my presentation in the better manner.
This scale not only helps me my study period but also using this skill I will be able to develop
a proper professional career. I believe, this skill is needed to be adopted by everyone for
making their presentation more attractive. On the other hand, I have also gained the web
designing skill. The learning process was quite impressive for me. By using this skills, I have
got the chance to develop the business related internet sites. I have learned that this site is
very effective in the case of getting connected with the potential customers. Therefore, this
can be said that by using this skills in my professional sectors, I will be able to perform as a
web planner. This is also very influencing in the case of gaining profit from the online
customers. Hence, this can be said that the web designing skill will be helping the
professional skills. I believe, if I build my career depending on this, I will be benefited.
