INTRODUCTION
It has been found that professionalism can be defined in the form of the conduct, aims,
and qualities that characterize or can make a professional individual. Professional values are
described within the considered ethical codes of health care professionals. It has been found that
the moral principles debit the potential to justify the nursing profession practices, which are
mandatory to provide service users. (Kong and et al., 2021)
It has been observed that advancements within technologies and expanding their job roles
of healthcare professionals have been termed to be provoked through the tangle and, in some
exceptional cases, complex ethical dilemmas for health care professionals. This report underpins
my analysis on professionalism and clinical incident, which is self-SWOT analysis during the
lecture in the classroom, which made me realize the significance of professionalism within
healthcare sectors with the help of the Gibbs Model.
MAIN BODY
Description
It is the initial stage of Gibbs Reflection Model, representing the core understanding of a
scenario situation faced by an individual. It entails the whole background of the situation and
provides knowledge of what happened, time of prevalence, who was there to witness the scene
and when it occurred, and others. (Houand et al., 2019) During the lecture, I learned that we all
have to do a SWOT analysis on ourselves, and I will understand the values of professionalism in
workplaces. Also, it can reflect some aspects of self-learning. I was also able to attain the core
knowledge and understanding about the skills and professional values that I would achieve.
I was extremely excited as I was going to gain learning and knowledge f clinical
procedures within the UK and the ethical style of the practice of the healthcare professional.
While in class, each student there got excited about determining their strength, weaknesses,
opportunities, and threat. Through this assessment, I have learned excellent and practical
communication skills. I have also observed that communication is a key that builds a bond with
individuals, develops empathy and compassion I respect to patients, and develops trust.
I have learned that communication can help attain information and knowledge to provide
accurate required treatments and diagnoses. I have learned that good communication brings the
potential to establish emotional support that I can utilize in my future practice. The

communication skills can also facilitate determining the real needs and demands of individuals
and several expectations of patients from the treatment. (Li e. al., 2016) It can be helpful in my
future practice by facilitating me, identifying the root cause of the problem, and how I can fulfill
my patients' expectations. I have achieved learning communication can also impact the
individual's recovery.
In addition to this, effective communication can also help establish trust within team
members, which will help me work in a team effectively. I have learned that practitioners should
be broad-minded and ready to take suggestions from their co-workers. It can help me attain a
wide range of solutions in my future practice. I have also learned to be attentive, and initiative to
take responsibilities when required as practitioners should be responsible for our actions. In
addition to this, I have analyzed that quick decision-making and problem-solving can play a vital
part in the practice of practitioners. In each piece, it is required to use steps from selecting
treatments to achieve the task. These skills will help me determine accurate interventions that
should be followed to provide individuals to cope with illness.
Moreover, I achieved learning that I was also impressed, after recognizing my strength,
weakness, opportunities, and threat during the lecture in the classroom. Strength: the considered
strength that I have to underpin while doing SWOT analyses is that I have good communication
skills, can work under pressure, and use technological tools such as maintaining and recording an
individual's history and tel-recorder. It can help me to secure and sustain patients' confidential
information records. According to studies, the NHS considered the model of Confidentiality.
(Hargreaves and Page, 2013) The confidentiality model outlines requirements that must be
addressed to provide confidential services to patients.
These skills will help protect individuals' confidential information of patients. The use of
tel-recorder will be helping me to maintain patients' information and their medical history
systematically. Also, it can make me more professional in my practice. (Bamat and et al., 2021)
In addition to NHS Frameworks has been determined for three specific areas: infrastructure,
intelligence, and impact and intervention. Within these considered areas, maintaining records of
patients by encompassing electronic patients record and place-based digitization are helpful
tools.
The care records that have across several care settings and primary care IT support and
cyber securities can help me maintain information of patients confidential. (Bassot, 2015).

So, it will be helpful for me in my future practice. A weakness I have discovered during
the lecture is issues of time management, identification of objects for each individual, and
context to my opportunities, which I have figured out by this clinical incident, I can further go in
hydrotherapy MDT approach and others. The threats I have considered are time management,
emotional, empathy, compassion, pain with others, passion & challenges while providing
treatment intervention to individuals, family pressure, or the pressure which are termed to attain
from carers.
Feelings
According to this model second stage is feeling, in which I describe my feelings related
to a clinical incident that I have to experience in the future. At first, it will be interesting to do a
SWOT analysis on me; by doing, I will my learning experience. (Hargreaves and Page, 2013)
(Kong and et al., 2021) The second stage of the Gibbs model is determined to promote learning
and understand my understanding while the situation occurs. Using it will enhance my
professional skills to pursue my future practices. It will help me analyze those strengths, solid
professional skills that will help my future courses. By analyzing my skills, I would know about
my weaknesses which may create problems in my future. Using it will explore my future
opportunities, which will help me make my professional skills strong. I can even analyze the
threats that may occur in the future that become barriers to providing practices to the individual.
At first, conducting SWOT analysis was interesting for me; it was proving me the
opportunity to observe my skills. This clinical indecent, which happened during the lecture, was
positive for me. As it influences a positive impact on me, it will also highly impact in future
practice. Through this assessment, I attained a vision from where I can start improvising myself,
and my future approach will be practical, no abler to improvise. I feel that the Self SWOT
analysis can provide opportunities to look at my severe weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
that are termed. By the assessment of self SWOT analysis will help me analyze my best skills
which makes me strong to solve problems such as problem-solving, teamwork, flexibility,
communication skills, and so on. With the help of this, I also focus on my weaknesses, which I
have to improve because it may create problems in my future practices: public speaking, time
management, and many more. I also think about those opportunities. Achieving them will help
me make solid professional skills while thinking about threats; I will be finding ways to cover
them. By analyzing or improving all these factors, it helps me to make my future practices

strong. According to this, I feel that I have developed my learning skills to learn roles and duties
of professionalism to choose my profession as a Physiotherapist.
Evaluation
The evaluation is determined to be the third stage of this model, in which the negative
and positive factors have been discussed. It helps determine the characteristics and understand
what went well while conducting this assessment. (Bamat and et al., 2021) It can also be
beneficial for me to promote understanding of major aspects that are found to be positive and
negative contributions within my refute practice. The self SWOT analysis is determined to be
effective for me, but it seems to be a little bit annoying and demotivating. It was my first
exposure to characterizing each skill as per their sub-class, and also it provided me an
opportunity to explore my interpersonal skills toughly.
While in some of the sections, such as observing my threats, I made myself aware of their
consequences. Exploring opportunities made me feel proud that I am eligible for these criteria,
which can help attain my future goals and objectives. Also, while in the assessment, I have also
developed professional skills that are eligible to provide results in my future practice. Also, my
self contribution within this assessment was to address each step of analysation procedures and
be open and straight regarding weaknesses that I have self-analyzed during the lecture. I have
also attained learning that professional skills and where they can be implemented while in my
practice. It is also a significant chance for me to learn various standards of professionalism as
well.
Analysis
This section can explain what specifically occurred and how it was reacted in regards to
theory, as it can also be termed as an effective intervention that can be used. I have observed
during the class that I was pretty much confused in regards to improving with analyzation
procedure that was a little bit found to be negative for me. I have also determined that the skills
which I have achieved can help in my practice by working ethically. I learned that it works
similar to gateway of a number of opportunities such as working in collaboration with others,
effective team working skills, understanding of core learning professionalism, coping
mechanisms, and that can help me recommend my service users in my future practice as well.

in my future practice. I have learned that SWOT analysis is an effective process that can help
determine the potential of one individual in their profession. It provides ample opportunities to
improve and make interventions that can help individuals who will seek help from me; also
through this assessment. I have also learned that the SWOT analyses are determined as a
gateway that can help identify skills where I am professional and the rates found under progress.
Conclusion
As per the studies, it has been determined that Gibbs contains two conclusions, which one
is concluded in a general form. At the same time, the other is represented as a transferable or
particular one. With the context of conclusion, it can be concluded that the clinical incident
which was occurred at the time of lecture was SWOT analysis on my myself, in which I attained
learning that professionalism is an essential skills of healthy practitioners, though they can
proceed quality of care and services to individual who requires it. It can also provide learning
regarding the achievement of individual education they have attained through assessment, as it
can be delineated and can be further improvised by me.
In addition to this, besides these skills, I have also learned clinical decision-making,
problem solving, managing relationships with others, balancing work life, and so on. I am also
glad that these skills will benefit me in working potentially and will provide me assistance to
enhance my skills more or as per the requirement. While in this clinical incident, at first, it seems
to be interesting for me. I was also slightly excited, as it can be considered a self-ability test.
Studies reflect that self swot analyses can represent what mediations can be regarded as which
are required in the association. Regarding whether it is found to be correspondence lope or the
elimination of labour force, it can also find out absence of assets as well. It can also help to
promote comprehension and assurance to one of the members who are present to be in the
associated health care.

As per my observation, I have attained learning that action plan that is correlated with
several interventions and procedures that I am going to pin while addressing my interpersonal

contained in the health care profession. It is found to be an essential element of professionalism

Effective Communication & Effective Listening skills
Practical communication skills are an essential part of the health care profession. These
skills will work in determining the treatment plans for individuals and determine the procedure
that can take place while addressing the needs of individuals. I have also understand that along
with effective communication skills it is important to have effective communication skills as
well. Effective communication is described as a two-way process in which active listening skills
play a significant role. It can help express the needs and demands and understand the needs and
demands of service users.
CONCLUSION
Overall, it has been concluded that analysis of SWOT is considered to be an effective and
efficient procedure that can reflect a better understanding of an individual. In respect to their
strength, weakness, opportunities, and threat that can interrupt their quality of services in their
practice. Professionalism is the ability to work systematically and can also improve, providing
opportunities to improve their weakness and undermine their skills as their strength, including
identification of their option and as threats in their career. The procedure can offer ample ways to
characterize their kills into the subclass. While attempting this assessment, I have achieved
learning that can enhance my skills required to follow professionalism in my chosen profession
in the future. This clinical was determined to be positive for me as it provides learning that I
have made progress and improvisation for my future practice. The skills which have been
developed and enhanced are as follows: coordinating skills, professionalism, time management
