Problem Statement: The harassment on the professors by the students in universities.
Introduction
The problem which is chosen for this paper is the focusing on the issues that the female
professors are facing in the premises of the university. On the prospect of sexual harassment with
the women professors being the victims of the pestering behavior from the students is increasing
day by day. There is a research conducted on the XYZ University where the women section were
interviewed and almost most of the section had the same petition. The focus is on the problem
solving technique that occur within the university and the victims are entirely on the abuse
directed towards the subordinates. The solution towards the problem can be defined by means of
educating the students and facilitating seminars that will inculcate a change in their behavior and
widen their knowledge in maintaining a respect towards the professors, the second solution will
focus on the students who are accused and are punished severely and lastly spreading awareness
about the recent cases concluded the mean of oral, written documents and technological media
(Ahmed et al., 2014).

The suffering of the above mentioned problem is effecting the university, professors, the
ethos and the goodwill of the education facility of the country. The survey which has been
conducted on the female population has collected data on the various issues faced and two
hundred and eight female candidates has been victimized. The major problem that was addressed

on the society in adherence to the legal requirements is essential but not adequate to initiate the
change which is needed to address the sexual harassment. In order to make changes the rules and
regulation should be able to succeed in making these regulations to all the working members of
the campus that is the student, administrators, faculty and staff is the responsibilities of these
individual to solve out the problem and promoting a civil and respectful environment (Whitley &
Page, 2015).
