The assignment requires the student to design a Program Benefits Analysis Tool, using a provided template, for an organizational program management scenario. The project involves applying analytical skills to identify and articulate program benefits, prioritize them using decision-making skills, and use evaluation skills to measure and assess program benefits performance. The student can choose their own organization or use the case study of CEBIT Australia, a business technology event. The analysis includes defining program scope, identifying stakeholders, defining program benefits, outlining communication activities, establishing benefits measurement and delivery approaches, assigning ownership, setting program benefit objectives, conducting a benefits analysis, creating a benefits statement and register, identifying potential risks, and providing a detailed benefits profile. The assessment criteria, including task details and allocated marks, are outlined, providing a comprehensive framework for evaluating the student's understanding and application of program management principles. The assignment emphasizes the application of the SMART method to clarify the program title with project timelines and deliverables.
