Program evaluation is a process which is systematic in nature. The main objective of the
program evaluation is to evaluation the functionalities and the operations of the program along

(Newcomer, Hatry & Wholey, 2015). The evaluation of the program can be considered as
learning process or knowledge gaining process regarding the logic used in the compilation of the
programs and practices. In order to define the program evaluation the term practical program
evaluation is used as the practices in the program evaluation are done in a reasonable cost and
time. In order to understand the significance of the program evaluation the example of its
application on the public administration can be used. One of the example of the public sector
administration is administration of the education sector. The fruitfulness of the application of the
program evolution will indicate the effectiveness of the implemented plans in the education
sector.

There are various program evaluation approaches. Three types of program evaluation
approaches are formative approach, summative approach and ongoing approach. The selection

technique of the analysis or the evaluation. In the process. However, in case of the project
evaluation process , the whole technique follows a systematic approach. The program evaluation

the administrative process in the education sector can be achieved through the program
evaluation.

The validity of the program evaluation indicates the persons who can evaluate the
associated functions in the program. Validity of the program evaluation is the parameter of the
reliability of the evaluation. In case, if the right researchers or the people are involved in the
program evaluation it can be said that the outcome of the evaluation result will be authentic
(Larson, 2018). The planning design and the implementation can be done in a proper way
through the validity of the program evaluation. The plans for the improvement of the education
plans can be evaluated through the validity of its effectiveness.

The internal validity indicates that the program has achieved the desired outcome to a
certain degree along with the relevant alternative explanations. The external validity draws the

type of validity is concerned about the quality of the validation of the program and the mitigation
and the identification of the error.
