Report
AI Summary
This report focuses on project evaluation using the Program Logic Model, a crucial tool for program design and assessment. It explores the model's components: inputs (resources and people), activities (program actions), outputs (direct results), and outcomes (short-term, mid-term, and long-term impacts). The report emphasizes the interconnectedness of these elements and their importance for program success. It highlights the significance of considering external factors and assumptions while creating a logic model. The report also references the need for a program profile in conjunction with the logic model to achieve program objectives. The report concludes by stressing the importance of proper management of all elements within the logic model to avoid program failure and facilitate effective evaluation, ultimately benefiting the organization. The report references several key sources to support its analysis.

Program Logic Model
There are various methods for program design and evaluation. In addition, the program logic
model is helpful for providing a basic idea about the program profile and other information. According
to (MacDonald, 2018), program logic model requires a checklist to perform the entire task properly. In
addition, the logic model provides brief details about the input, output, and impact of outcomes. It is
necessary to include assumption and external factors in the designing of the logic model.
Moreover, evaluation is necessary to process in the program logic model, which will evaluate all
the processes in a proper manner (McDavid, Huse, & Hawthorn, 2018). However, the program profile
can be created without the use of a logic model.
Furthermore, an organization should create a program profile to get success of that program
with the help of the program logic model. According to (McNamara, 2019), guidelines should follow in
the creation of a program logic model, as it is necessary to consider all the external factors and
assumptions in the model.
Input: in this field, all the people and resources has included, which are responsible for the whole
program, such as staff, the board of directors, equipment, volunteers, funding and others.
Activities: in this field, it requires various methods for creating different activities to accomplish the
program, such as teaching, coaching, counseling, and others.
Outputs: this is the most important part of the program in which outputs of the program will mention,
such as sessions, counseling hours, phone calls, and others
Outcomes: in this field, program outcomes are defined in three categories, which are short-term, mid-
term, and long-term.
According to (Newcomer, Kathryn E., Hatry, & Wholey, 2015), program logic model is the best
way for evaluation of the program. It provides a brief idea about the program and its input, outputs,
activities, and outcomes. Besides, program profile is also necessary to understanding all the features of
program including its input and outputs.

Furthermore, all these elements are related to each other. Input makes an impact on the output
of the program, which is directly related to the outcomes of the program in various terms, such as short-
term, mid-term, and long-term.
Therefore, it is necessary to consider each element important for the success of the program.
The organization can take benefits of these elements to increase the outcomes of the program. There
are some dependencies of input and activities in the output of the program, such as facilities,
volunteers, and the board of members.

All the fields are important and these must be considered in the program execution. There are
some priorities in that program, which must be following by the organization to successfully complete
the program.
In addition, program logic model is based on all these elements and it is necessary to manage all
the elements in a proper manner for avoiding failure of the program and evaluation of the whole
processes. It will provide benefits for the organziation as well.
