Programming Introduction: Algorithms, .NET, and Program Development

This report serves as an introduction to the core concepts of programming, starting with an overview of algorithms and the characteristics of programming paradigms. It covers problem-solving techniques, the steps involved in program development (including analyzing the problem, design, coding, documentation, compiling, testing, debugging, and maintenance), and the use of flowcharts and use-case diagrams. The report also introduces the .NET Framework, including the Common Intermediate Language (CIL), Common Language Runtime (CLR), and Just-In-Time (JIT) compiler. The content is designed to help students design and implement simple computer programs in a chosen language (C#) within a suitable IDE (Visual Studio .NET).
