Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) has provided various approaches for managing a project of a

However, PMI has provided better outcomes. It has managed a project using five stages,
which areas:
Initiating: in this process, a manager can define the start of a new project. In addition,
there are many benefits of defining a project stage. Atlases has provided initial processes of a
project to their clients as well.
Planning: in this stage, the scope of the project will be defined. There are some basic
objectives will be achieved.
Executing: all the project stages will be executed, which has defined in the previous
stages, which are defined in the project management plan.
Monitoring and controlling: a manager can track the progress of a project as well. It is
helping in performance management as well. Atlassian has provided JIRA service module to
their clients for monitoring.
Closing: concluding all the stages of the project. PMI techniques have used for the
management of works. Moreover, a project manager has adopted a good approach to make
their project successful (Taylor, 2018).
Moreover, PMI has used for manual processes as well as automatic functions of a
project. In addition, all the processes of a project can be managed using basic processes as
well. However, there are many benefits of PMBOK, such as monitoring, scheduling, and
many more (Malas, 2019). Moreover, PMI is a standard approach to start a project using
defining various parameters. In addition, internal and external processes used for business
management as well. Furthermore, PMI has used for managing a project and its various
processes. It is the best approach to manage all the processes. PMI has improved the standard
using differing approaches (CARASSO, 2013).
