the project management office and ensure stakeholder participation.
Ford Motors have started a new Project Management Office (PMO) in the electric
system engineering department which requires the involvement of professional project
manager and different categories of stakeholders associated.
Project management skills of the project managers such as the leadership skills as
there are diverse categories of stakeholders who are involved in the starting of the project
management offices. Participation of each of the internal stakeholders of Ford Motors are
very much significant to confirm success for the new PMO (Lock, 2017). Strategic
maintenance solutions can be very much useful to manage each of the stakeholders of the
Ford Motors such as the project managers, CEO of the business, resource managers, business
administrators, developers, quality analysis team and all the business partners of this
organization.
Essential skills of project manager in terms of the communication skills, diverse
categories of leadership qualities, negotiation and risk management are the very much
required in order to enhance the engage of each of the stakeholders associated with PMO
(Taylor, 2016). At the same time, it can also be said that globally distributed software can be
very much significant to ensure the engagement of each of the stakeholders.
Providing training to employees about project management knowledge areas and
establishing project management as a discipline
Diverse categories of training procedures such as the technical training, quality
training, skill development training as well as professional training about different aspects of
project management like project scope management and project cost management. The other
knowledge areas of project management like project human resource management can be

understood using effective training sessions (Darling & Whitty, 2016). Process groups such
as initiating the process groups as well as the executing process groups.
The other essential categories of project management like project planning, project
monitoring, configuration management, product quality assurance and decision analysis can
be managed in an organized manner using diverse categories of training sessions (Lock,
2017). Project management disciplines like team management and change control can also be
understood in an organized manner using diverse training sessions.

Integrated change control is the process of reviewing each of the changes which is
planning to happen in Ford Motors. The deliverables of the project and organizing the
process assets are also included in the integrated change control. Project management plan
and communication platforms are required to be maintained in each phase of the change. The
prime objectives of integrated change control is identification of all the fluctuations in a
project, at the same time it is also very much useful to manage the project life cycle.
Change model can also be very much useful to manage each of the changes in the
project starting from the initial phase to the final phase of the project.
