• The assignment represents identification as well as
planning for procurement of the Uninterrupted Power
Supply system.
• Company chosen is As-Sabuur Nigeria Limited.
• The objective is to install generators in organisations and
various houses.

• Houses in Nigeria face numerous issues in relation to
power outages.
• Project plan is designed by the project manager.
• Installation of generator systems in houses would prove
highly beneficial because the organization would be able
to get more financial returns.
• It would allow the company to pay the labours with their
desired wages.

supply range.

The Risks and Mitigation
• Documents might not be prepared within the needed time.
• There might be some defects detected after installation.
• The plan must be designed within exact time.
• Generator must be tested before it is installed.

Current Skills to be tested
• Strong form of mechanical and electrical aptitude skills.
• Good form of leadership and communication skills.
• Project manager must be able to carry out duties along
with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work in a paced and dynamic environment

Current Skills to be tested
• Technical knowledge on diesel engine, electric power
generation, distribution of power which has the sets of
engine generation, installation, assembly, repair,
commissioning, system integration design, paralleling,
operation, transfer and switch gear switches.
• One more part of the knowledge that would be required is
based on fuel systems, enclosures, exhaust systems and
ancillary equipment.

Current Skills to be tested
• Project manager must have the ability to interpret various
forms of instructions.
• Understand specifications that would include blueprints.
• Negotiation skills and organizational skills would be
highly needed
