1PROJECT AND CHANGE MANAGEMENT
Project management primarily aims at identifying the different activities, cost, and
time frames that might be considered with the purpose of adhering to the project
requirements. The different changes in the project planning and execution methods are based
on the approach of project management and the manner in which the same is aligned with the
common goals of the business. On the other hand, change management activities are
specifically undertaken by the organizations with the purpose of introducing a modification in
the organizational operations. The changes that are planned by the organizations are reliant
on the specific needs of the same to maintain their sustenance in the markets. In this
connection, the goal of project management operations are to allocate resources that are
feasible for empowering the organizational change processes.
The different changes in the organizational operations are based on the assessment of
the urgency and the manner in which the change might be positioned in the organizational
model. Project management concepts provide the organizations with a structure for allocating
resources and the time that might be required for the implementation of the change in the
organizational operations. Project management strategies aims at deploying resources in an
effective manner in accordance with the change objectives of an organization while
empowering the overall change process in the organizational model (Martinsuo & Hoverfält,
2018). It has been observed that changes occur in every stage of the project management
lifecycle where strategies merge with the different activities, empowering an organization’s
change capability.
The case of the Blue spider specifically enumerated the limitation where the entity
lacked specific project management related information system. The lack of the information
system did not only affect the quality of the strategies but also disabled specific project

management approaches as per the common goals of the venture. The different systems as
per the case organization aimed at improving the operationalization as per the common goals
of the venture. The key aspects of change in the organizational operations are based on clarity
of communication among the different stakeholders (Ozguler & Yilmaz, 2017). The links of
communication are necessary for improving the collaboration among the different resources
as per the common goals of the venture. The lack of efficient information systems in the
project, affected the capability of the project managers in answering to the queries raised by
the different stakeholders. The absence of effective information systems in the project also
affected the strategizing capability of the stakeholders in adherence to the common objectives
of the venture.
Moreover, the organization failed to deploy a communication management strategy
which resulted to absence of adequate communication between the stakeholders on the
project and the different whereabouts. It has been observed that 90% of the project manager’s
operations were spent on building efficient communication between the stakeholders, which
affected the work flow. A basic communication based software might be used by the project
manager like monday.com which would allow the same in transmitting information about the
project to all relevant stakeholders (Whyte, Stasis & Lindkvist, 2016). Again, the
inadequacy of developmental activities for the project managers affected the capability of the
organization in improving the operational aspects in accordance with the project
requirements. The different changes in the organizational operations are based on the
effective functioning of the project managers. However, the lack of improvement scopes
being provided by the organization affected the capability of the organization in improving
the business operations. Moreover, the organization also faced significant issues relating to
schedule delays. Schedule overrides due to deadline miss by Gary might affect the capability

of the organization in completing the overall change project based on the objectives and
within the estimated costs.
The organization might take the initiative of utilizing Celoxis which is a software that
would assist the project managers in identifying the different cost and time related aspects
while making note on every minute detail of the activities. The different changes that are
planned by the organization are based on the effective functioning of the different systems in
accordance with the common goals of the venture. The software would be assisting the
organization in framing effective Gantt charts and timeframes with allocated costs of
operations. It might empower the capabilities of the organization in increasing the
effectiveness of the business operations on the project while adhering to the goals of the
venture.
The most sorted activities that might be considered by the organization is specifically
reliant on the change strategies and the urgency that is being faced by the same. The change
strategy would allow the organization in outlining the urgency and the different activities that
might be considered by the same for entertaining change in the business processes. The risk
assessments and different other assessments would allow the organization in improving the
rate of operations while adhering to the project parameters (Conforto et al., 2016). The risk
assessments, frequent communication and team support enables an organization in increasing
the effectiveness of the business processes while operating in the markets. Moreover,
delineation of the resistances and the roadmaps might be taken as one of the major concerns
that might be considered by the organizations with the purpose of improving the rate of
business functions. Sponsor coalition and collaboration between the different stakeholders
play an important role in improving the organizational processes. Therefore, from the above
assessment it might be stated that the correlation between the project and change
