Introduction
The report is all about major outbreak of disease in which the senior manager needs to respond in
timely way. For carrying out the given function, all the latest information and data needs to be taken into
account for making the right decision [2]. County health department has come up with a strategic plan which
helps in understanding the program evaluation. It is all about making response to some of the major
communicable disease outbreaks. At present, the senior management focus on certain number of ways by
which there can be improvement of overall capacity [8]. This particular step can be considered to be a vital one
in achieving the desired goals.
In the discussion section of this report, an analysis has been done current communication plan. After
that, a comparison has been done with respect with sound project management practices. The next part of the
report deals with recommendation for communication plan. The last section of the report deals with list of
justification for the provided recommendation.

Communication plan can be considered to be an effective tool which is needed for establishing
communication in an effective way. The communication is established with team, client and other stakeholders
of the organization [4]. It is needed for providing a clear guideline about the fact that how information will be
shared. It is mainly responsible for understanding the overall need that needs to be looped in each project
communication [6]. There is no single activity by which the communication on the project a work.
Communication plan needs to be included for a range of communication methods.
In the given scenario, the project manager of health services program needs to keep a track of CHD. It
is the region where the project manager needs to keep a track of given information for the given work [7]. The
system is completely designed for reactively without considering the future expansion on the update data of
public health. The communication plan of improving County Public health informatics system mainly comprises
of main stakeholders, issues among the stakeholder of the project, message that needs to be communicated
[3]. Various methods of communication like written, face to face, electronic messages and lastly official
meetings on weekly interval. A list of timing issues like bar chart and project schedule has been discussed in

stakeholders that is client, senior management, sponsor and lastly project team members have been discussed
in details. Apart from this, the communication plan comprises of range of stakeholders like employees,
suppliers, union, news media and community has been discussed in details [5]. A wide range of stakeholder
issue like providing information on continuous basis like providing information on the status of the project has
been discussed. The benefits of the communication plan to the project which can be seen for public safety and
overall cost saving for the employees.
Communication plan can be considered to be as one of the major documents where project manager
can manage and control the overall communication. Stakeholders of the project needs to be addressed in such
a way that it can be addressed [1]. Communication plan is known to be an important aspect of whole
communication plan. At present, there are large number of performance report like
Status Report: A proper report needs to be there on the overall process in performance measurement
of the baseline.
Progress Report: It mainly aims to describe the whole amount of work that needs to accomplished.
Forecasting Report: All the future status of the report and overall performance is provided on the
present data.
Earned Value Report: The report mainly needed for integration, cost and measure of schedule for
understanding the overall project performance.

Recommendation for Communication Plan
The stakeholders of this project that is improving county public health informatics project needs to
address a list of points like
Understanding the overall goals and Strategy: The present communication plan in this organization
needs to address a list of point like measurable goal and strategies. The goals need to be very much specific as
much as needed [2]. The organization needs to be aware of the fact that there is a need of overall
communication goals which are needed to be realistic in nature. This particular aspect can be accomplished
with the given human and available resources.
Implementation plan: The present communication needs to completely accompanied by the given
implementation [8]. This particular aspect helps in understanding the overall clear map which helps in
understanding the present timelines and activities.
Monitroing and Evaluation: User can be easily able to keep a track and understand the overall success.
It needs to be properly evaluated and measured. In this way all the required adjustment is done.

Justification for Recommendation

The present communication plan in this project that is improving county public health informatics
system comprises of large number communication methods like email, meeting at regular interval and lastly
teleconferencing. It mainly emphasizes on town hall meeting and lastly conferences. The recommended
communication plan in this project will help in enhancing the overall communication.
Conclusion
From the above pages of the report an idea has been provided the given case study that is improving
public health informatics. There are large number of benefits of integrating data where employees in county
health department is understandable to huge number of changes. It is all about making use of new kind of
technology which is seen by the implementation of new EMR system and designed database. For making
ensure of the overall success of implementation, project manager needs to have all the required information to
the stakeholder. In the above pages of the report the ongoing communication plan in the given project has
been discussed in details. A list of recommendation for the present communication plan along with
recommendation has been discussed.
