Introduction
Projects are having vulnerable to change the right from the planning and initiation phases. It will
be easy to execute the changes at a very early age but once it executed, no changes will be made
after the work breakdown structure, project charter or statements of work. Changes must be
approved by the stakeholders or all the majority with the project sponsor if any changes made on
account of undefined risk. There is a long process for the changes within the project and it must
be recorded according to the change control plan in a change control document. The project is
based on the change control with the case study of Corwin Corporation.

1. Identify what processes are involved in submitting a request to deal with the
changes necessary from your understanding of the case study.
At the time of the project, a change request may be considered as a risk for the project outcomes.
A change in the request can be explained as the proposal which alters the system or product
which is bought by the client to the other team member. The situation of change in request
occurs when there is a want of a client to make changes in the project. Change in the request is
considered as the benefit for better outcomes for the project. But it is important to manage the
process of making changes in the project (Wu, et. al., 2016). The Corwin Corporation needs to
focus on efficiency, alignment, and internal communication by focusing on overall business
goals. There are some steps that are involved in the process of a change request:
 There must be the availability of sufficient documents which is required for a request for
change. The Corwin Corporation relies on 7 R which involves raised, reason, return, risk,
resources, responsibility, and relationship.
 There must be a correct evaluation of the effort of changes by considering all the factors.
 Impact of makes changes must be addressed and analyzed before implementing the
changes (Harmon, 2019).
 There must be the implementation of request for a change in a structured manner by
focusing on the task that includes building the change along with providing a pre-test
change. This is followed by developing a comprehensive plan for the change deployment,
implement the change.
 This also helps in providing monitoring during Post-Implementation.

2. Identify and critically analyze changes required and the impacts on scope, time,
cost and quality of the project and the techniques used to manage them.
Change order request is considered as the central element of the project management process.
The changes of the project are mainly focused on schedule, scope, budget, risk, and quality
which is documented and analysed as the aspect of the change management process. If there is
any change in the project it directly affects the cost, quality, scope and time of project of Corwin
Corporation. Cost of project increases become there will be the addition of people to accomplish
the deadline. This may also remove some products and also change in delivery time (Liptak,
2018).
As there is a push in the final delivery of project there is slightly change in budget and schedule.
People are added for minimizing the disruption to the schedule of a project which leads to the
overall project cost.

3. Identify and discuss options to satisfy each change request and any risks
associated with the options.
The project manager of Corwin Corporation needs to identify and analyse the risk, change
request and issues. For this, the company needs to follow the project risk management process
which helps in analysing, communicating, identifying, tracking and planning for the risk. Other
risk responses strategies for satisfying the change request include:
Avoid: This help in focusing on removing the causes and threats.
Mitigate: There is various risk in the project that can’t be eliminated but through their impact
can be reduced with the help of mitigation (Dang, et. al., 2015).
Transfer: To avoid the threat it is necessary to transfer the risk to another party such as
Insurance purchases, warranties, guarantees, etc.

The overall theme of paper depends upon change control with context to the Corwin Corporation
which had grown into a $950 million-per-year company. During the project execution of the
company, the main aim of the project manager is to ensure the project is completed according to
the project management plan and the other requirements of projects. Required may need some
changes in the project. Changes need to be addressed and implemented effectively and should

ensure that the project is managed according to the existing management plans and project
baselines.

Conclusion
From the above data and information, it has been concluded that change control is a systematic
process that helps the project sponsor in executing all the changes that are made in the project.
The main of the change control is to verify all the unnecessary changes, and the changes which
are not required to be disrupted or resources are sued efficiently. The report focuses on the
process that is required to address the changes and its impact over the quality, scope and time of
the project. Further on the report also include a change request/control form provided or one that
is used from a workplace.
