Part A: Theoretical explanation of each project element
Project scope
The project scope is simply defined as the work which needs to be accomplished or delivered
with some given specified feature and functions which used inside it. There are also several
processes available of project scope like controlling, planning, and closing. Project scope is
also defined as the work which delivers the product, it also consists of a part of project
planning involves specific goals, deadlines and cost of that project. Project scope is also
helpful to solve what and why the problem of any sponsor (Jamaledine, 2017).
Project Charter :
It list as the most concern and important part of any project which is select by the project
manager, through the help of project charter it is very easy to remember about the project. It
has the all the right to continue more about the project detail plan about the project and also it
has all the permission to make decisions, and the main aim of any project charter is to strive
and make that project successfully. it is also used to develop the common understanding so
that would help in the benefit of a project like a building trust, develop a team. In any project,
there is 4 major purpose present for charter (Lucid, 2019).
It is helpful to help the project team and also sponsor commit for the project
It is simply developing an understanding between the team and the sponsor
It authorizes the project manager to proceeding the project further.
It is also helpful for screening the project from the poor project.
Business Case :
The business case of any project management is helpful to justify the statement, as the scope
of the project, it is also helpful to resolve and answer the why? In the business case, it is also
helpful to understand the purpose of the project. It is also helpful to explain the benefit of the
organization while making this project. It has 2 faces at the same time as either business case
helpful as the rationale of any project or it is helpful to estimate the cost and benefit of the
project. It also includes the performance of any project either in the form of emotional or

Milestone Schedule with deliverable
Milestone schedule is important to identify all the points which are significant about the
project, it is also known as the summary level scheduling. It is useful to divide the project
into some 2-4 intermediate part. It is also important because it lists all the major milestone as
per and according to the requirement especially which complete both satisfaction factor of the
project team and key decision makers. Deliverable is used in it just to provide and perform
services which are used to complete the process, phase and project. Sometimes milestone
occurs at the completion of critical design so deliverable is helpful to identify the milestone
and key deliverable of the project (Gaeu, 2019)
Risks, Assumptions, and Constraints
The risk is known as the unwanted and uncertain event which occurs during any project and
affect positively and negatively on the project object. Assumptions are taken as the factor of
any project which is considered to be real and true without any certain proof. Validate
assumptions is taken as the planning process by the team. It also includes risk. Constraints are
available as the limiting factor of any project which affects execution. If we take these 3
keywords together then it is considered as when an assumption turns out in false then it
becomes a risk for the project, and that risk is impacted as the threat of any project which
may inhibit any successful project completion.
Resource Estimates
Resource are skilled and the term as the human resource, service and other funds. It occurs as
the prior start of any project, which is to ensure any project to have some time and resource
necessary for the project. This is used to estimate the amount of staff, material and other
supply which is required. So through this, all the resources have the ability to prepend
estimate time for every resource which is assigned (Forsythe, 2017).
Stakeholder
In any project management, project success is essentially the most important part and which
is dictated to identify and prioritize the stock-holder, stock-holder also patriciates into some
different major type role as management, team and so on. So for any project, it is important to
identify and prioritize the stack-holders (Landau, 2017).

Every project in which we are working is unique and has a great deal that can be learned as
success and failure about the project. Lesson learned term refers to any project management
project is the knowledge which is gained during the project. It is also term as a store of
historical information and lesson learned which is related to the selection and decision of the
project. So it is also important for the new team to learn together and try not to repeat the
mistakes again.

decisions. This is the term where the sponsor, team member, manager, show their
commitments towards the project by signing the charter in it. It is for assuring them and keep

Part B practical example of a charter
Letter to sponsor
22nd March 2019
Branch manager, the insurance company
Location: suburban
Dear CEO,
As we all know that our insurance company has to shift at a new location just because the
lease of the company has been expired, and the landlord refused the offer to renew it, so we
have only 2 months left to vacate the premise. So as a project manager it is my responsibility
to find out the posh and good location for our company so I find out a location which is
nearby suburban, due to the limited budget it is beneficial to shift at this location very easily
and under the budget, because it is nearby our company's office. So for providing the advance
budget, I would like to thank you for the sponsorship.
Sincerely,
Branch manager
