Executive Summary:
This document aims to discuss about the importance of the stakeholders on a project. For
the brief demonstration case study of the CHD has been analysed in this report. From the
analysis it has been determined that the developed communication plan by the project
manager of CHD is realistic enough for using in the actual project of information system
development. Best practices of the project management has been also analysed in this case
and recommendation has been shared for the projects that runs publicly by the government.

3PROJECT COMMUNICATION PLAN
Introduction:
Communication technology is very much important aspects considering the present
situation and the main reason behind the improvement of the communication technology is
the information technology [1]. This information technology can be utilised in various of
sectors including the health care sector.
The case study of Country Health Development deals with development of the
information technology which will be capable of detecting human diseases very quickly. To
make this project successful satisfaction of the stakeholders is very much important and for
that a proper communication plan is required. Due to this reason the presented
communication plan has been assessed in this case and it is determined whether the
communication plan is realistic enough or not for executing the project requirement.
Plan of Communication:
The provided case study deals with development of an information system which will
be able to determine human disease very quickly. For development of this type of
information system two things are very much important which are database of the human
disease and funding for the project [2]. Here the database can be gathered by the internal
project team. As the database is huge time and money both are required for the project and
this money will be collected from the project funding. Now, it has been assessed that the
main funding for the project is the external stakeholders. Thus it is very much important to
maintain a proper relationship with the external stakeholder of the project for which an
appropriate communication plan is required.
For the development of an appropriate communication plan regarding the project it is
important first to identify the crucial stakeholder of the project. There are several external
stakeholders related with the project which are senior management, clients, government
agencies and sponsors [3]. From the above clients can take the responsibility of funding of
the project. Due to that client becomes most important stakeholder of the project and proper
communication must be maintained with the clients of the project [8]. Communication with
the clients will be done via email, telephone and meeting. Formal languages will be used and
high amount of detail will be shared during the communication with the clients. Important
internal stakeholders will be also communicated through this way as they are related with
direct project execution [4]. Thus the proposed communication method is realistic enough to
use in the actual project. The important stakeholders will remain satisfied through this
communication method which is a positive sign for the project execution.

Suppliers and the subcontractors are not so important for the project and due to this
reasons these two stakeholder are not communicated in this case.
The other stakeholders does not provide any type of direct positive input to the
project that’s way these external stakeholders are not so important as the clients. Thus
internal information is not shared with these less important stakeholders [5]. Information
related with the project is only shared whenever required, but not shared proactively. This
can be considered as one of the best way of communicating with the less important
stakeholders and due to that this method of communication is considered realistic enough
for this project.
Practices of Project Management and Proposed Communication
Plan:
A good communication plan is one of the important aspects of the best practices of
the project management. A proper type of communication plan will ensure that all the
stakeholders of the project are happy with execution of the project. Ineffective
communication can create misunderstanding between the project stakeholders and due this
factor project can fail also. Here the project stakeholders are two types which are external
stakeholder and the internal stakeholder [6]. As it is determined that the proposed
commutation plan successfully creating communication between the internal and the
external stakeholders it is following the practices of the project management. Other best
practices for the project management division of the project in smaller groups which is also
leveraged for this project.
Recommendation:
The above discussion was regarding the privately run project but in the case of a
publicly run projects the requirements becomes different. Thus in this case different set of
communication plan is recommended.
 In all the aspects the permission of the government need to be taken in the publicly
run projects.
 The government must aware about all the aspects of the project whether it is
beneficial or not and cost of development of the project. Depending on the project
benefit and the cost government need to take decisions regarding the project.
 A recommendation is also given about the creation of strategic framework prior the
project execution. This framework will assist to communicate with all the stakeholders
of the project successfully.

Justification for the Recommendation:
Whenever a project runs publicly the government becomes the main stakeholder of
the project though there some third party organization which is working with the government
[7]. As the government becomes main stakeholder of the project it is important to provide all
the information regarding the project execution to the government itself. So, each and every
changes in the project need to be convoyed to the government. Cost, department is also
managed by the government in this type of project thus the financial cases will be also
updated to the government. Proper communication plan also need to be developed so that
other stakeholders of the project can effectively communicate with the government regarding
the project.
Conclusion:
From the above discussion it can be concluded that stakeholder of the project are
one of the most important entity for successful completion of a project. Satisfaction of the
stakeholder is also important for the perfect execution of the project. This report has
successfully discussed about the initiated project of the Country Health Development where
they are aiming to develop an information system which will be capable of identifying the
human diseases very quickly. For this reason satisfaction of the client stakeholder is very
much important. Thus in this case the developed communication plan has been analysed
regarding the actual project and from the analysis it has been determined that the
communication plan is realistic enough for using it in the actual project. Also, here
recommendation has been shared for the case of publicly run projects.
