1. Introduction
The report mainly reflects on the improvement of health informatics system. It is found
that communication plan is created in this paper in order to engage the stakeholder for forming
effective collaboration within the project team. With the help of the communication plan, both
the internal as well as external project stakeholders generally involved for providing support for
improving the information system. It is found that the paper compares communication plan as
well as project management practices for reflecting their importance in improving the
information system. Moreover, the paper also provides proper justification on the proposed
communication plan that is mainly needed in order to involve the project stakeholders.
2. Report on the current communication plan
The present communication plan that is used in the case study helps in providing proper
information to the various stakeholders including the project managers on daily basis. The
implementation of information system for health informatics, it is found that proper
communication is required so that the project stakeholders can get information about the
progress of the project effectively and uses this information in order to progress successfully for
achieving project objectives [3]. In the present case study, it is analyzed that the project
managers generally communicate with the stakeholders so that each detail associated with the
project must be shared within the project team. It is identified that in the initial step, it is

elaborated below:
Communication matrix: For managing the communication, it is quite important to
determine the external as well as internal stakeholders who are mainly associated with the
project. [3]. The communication matrix will be helpful in giving appropriate structure to the
document that the stakeholder generally requires as the matrix is generally helpful in determining
the stakeholder group, communicational requirements as well as anticipated free of
communication as well as different mode of communication.
Managing the communication plan: With the help of proper communication plan, the
project stakeholders can be able to get proper information associated with the project with
