The strong economic growth rate of Australia is greater than most of the countries in the Asia
Pacific region. According to Natoli and Zuhair (2013) there is a low level of risk which is
associated with the Australian economy as it boasts of a consistently strong GDP growth, interest
rates, increasing exchange rates, greater levels of employment and a lower inflation rate. As
opined by Photphisutthiphong and Weder (2016) in the main cities of Australia such as
Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide etc. the level of un-employment is relatively low and the
country wide unemployment figure is close to 5% overall. Australia receives a large number of
applications each year from those individuals who wishes to immigrate to the country in order to
enjoy the high standard of living and the overall opportunities the country offers to each
